Staff friendly and has music at weekends but the prices are very high...£9.35 for a pint of Cider and a pint of Amstel?? A pint of Carling and a vodka and ice £8.00

Bar staff would rather serve their mates than people they've watched stand at the bar for 20 mins.

What an amazing evening. The staff were absolutely amazing and the service was completely out of this world. The band "Lip-Stick" blew the roof off and definitely need to go and follow them. Support the pub, it has so much personality and soul has the essence of the community.Parking: Great parking just up the road and free after 6pm

Lovely pub with outside Tiki bar and seating which is great when the sun's out. No faults at all, great choice of beer and drinks and always full with lots of atmosphere. Highly recommend if having a drink in Fareham.

Incredible pub and service! They have hosted a couple of events for me and always excellent. But today, wanting to watch the semi final of the woman's world cup and they opened early for us. Great pub, beautifully decorated, good prices, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went for dinner with a friend and 2 children for a birthday meal on a Thursday night at half 5. Barmaid was very friendly but when we asked for menus we were told they werent doing food today, with no other explanation. The website however states food 7 days a week. The outside area was ok but not a place for children (or anyone who isnt drunk enough to be oblivious to it!), it stunk of fag butts with full ash trays on tables, broken glass on the floor and generally not very clean. The other customers were all friendly but all quite clearly very drunk already. We left and went elsewhere.

OMG, having 50 years of rumours about this pub clouded my expectations. What a revelation, entering the establishment I was still expecting the worst, how wrong could I be. The bar staff were very welcoming and there is a good range of draught beers, lagers and cider. The food, you could not call it fine dining, but value for money it definitely is. The long haired admiral had a Lasagne, with chips, and I had Chilli and half and half rice/chips all for 17 quid. Well worth it. Others in the group had burgers with add ons, cheese, mushrooms etc. Everyone was complimentary about their meal. The drinks were very good value less than £7 for me and the long haired admiral. The service was brilliant and the staff were great. Now to the main event, the karaoke was brilliant, I don't have to say anything more. What a great evening we had.
