Food good, but prices have been hiked by 30% and their takeaway menu leaflets are still showing the old prices. I ordered a takeaway expecting to pay £35.40 but had to pay £45.90 instead!

We have fish and chips fairly regularly and always go to the Flying Fish. The food is great. Service is with a smile. Keep up the good work, see you again soon. Thank you ?

Just had great fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce, all delicious, highly recommended.

Lovely fish and chips last night, perfectly cooked cod and generous portion of perfectly cooked chips.

Always used Flying Fish years ago, food was great, then change of ownership 5+ years ago and it went seriously down hill, so went elsewhere. Tried them again today as our usual was closed and had been years, so thought it may have improved. We had scampi and chips, scampi was pretty good but chips had a real strong oil taste, as if they’d been cooked in olive oil, even salt and vinegar wouldn’t mask the taste, not nice at all. Sadly won’t be giving them another try.

I am a big fan of the food of Flying Fish. The veg tastes fresh, the cooking is excellent, and the flavour balanced. Their Chinese takeaway style chips are also good.I am blown away by the high quality of the service. My requests for no mushrooms have been honoured, which I have had hit and miss luck with at other restaurants. When I ordered last night I forgot to mention no mushrooms. My meal still came mushroom free, as not only had my name been remembered, so too my dietary preference. Blown away.Thank you!

Freshly cooked to order and great value.

Very nice fish and chips from here. Both were freshly cooked to order and the best I have found in Fleet. Perfectly cooked tender white fish in a light, crisp batter and really nice crisp, thick cut chips. Both were excellent in both texture and flavour, and not excessively greasy.Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is on the pricey side but the portions are large and the quality is top notch. The food was served in paper wrapping and a paper bag so it arrived home hot and not at all soggy. Highly recommended, I’ll be eating from here again.Parking: On street parking close by. A sign says there is a car park around the back somewhere too.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

The worse fish and chips I have ever had! Hardly any fish, & what little fish there was was chewy. Chips were hard and chewy as well. Also asked to wrap food very well as had a walk to get them home and they were wrapped in once piece of paper and a paper bag. Disgusting, avoid!!!

Wife went here last night to pick up our evening meal and I have to say this is the worst fish and chips I have ever had! Cold, hard, stale chips and the cod was the same. Avoid this place!

Not bad, sometimes find the food a bit oily but it is deep fried so ... ??‍♀️Friendly staff. Do not need to wait too long for orders

The service is terrible been sat here for 40 minutes and still waiting. Too busy doing deliveries, and not addressing their on store customers.Might ask for money back in a minute. Wouldn't recommend unless you have a spare hour to wait, don't come in hungry you might die of starvation first

Yuk! Dried aromatic duck, Stuck together pancakes, Sloppy greasy mains and overcooked chow main. Really disappointed. We placed a sizable order for collection. Upon entering the premises I noted no one else and staff at the front of the shop just standing around...never a good sign! There was still food cooking but most of the order was loitering in the food warmer which probably accounts for the overcooking. This was a special occasion meal with lousey food - and to spend over £60 and not get any free prawn crackers!?The only thing that tasted good was the sweet and sour chicken balls....if you're still going to go here I'd stick to the Fish and Chips!
