We came because of the high reviews..The nicest chippy we've had in a very long time. Currently on holiday here and we've tried 3 different chippies (indulgent is acceptable on holiday) The best fry was by far superior. Friendly staff and the freshest fish. We've bought our fish & chips from Tom at The Best Fry for years now.We have tried other local chip shops to compare, like King Fry and the one at Queen's Parade shops, both are considerably more expensive but lacking the flavour.Tom's prices are very reasonable, and we will continue to be patrons for a long time coming.

Great little chippy and local. Really friendly guy that served me, nice and chatty. Fish and battered sausage very nice indeed, chips were nice too although a little hard, maybe they've been sitting too long, it was quiet that night.Would use again.
