Having specifically checked the time the cafe was open and that the kids eat for £1 deal would be valid, we timed out visit to the shop to coincide with kids dinner time (about 4:45pm) only to find the cafe within the largest supermarket around…was OUT of hot food! One can only presume they wanted an early night. 3 very disappointed and hungry kids, 2 frazzled parents who can’t cut a break. Should be clear when hot food is and isn’t available.

Its a massive shop, has a great selection of food. Has its own in house bakery. Plenty of parking outside the shop.

A big store with a somewhat illogical layout, too many aisles blocked with stock waiting to be put onto the shelves.

Much better than the Waterlooville store, the new hot food counter and self service ordering machines are great. I'd give 5 stars if the layout was better, I often find it hard to find what I'm looking for.

Excellent shop for all your everyday needs from food and drink to household appliances, and clothes and toys they also have the photo, chemist and opticians.

Large supermarket with an excellent stock in general. The cafe let's the shop down a lot as they often run out of different food options. My mother is vegetarian and often there is no vegi option available. On the plus side the staff are friendly and it's a comfortable place to sit for a coffee ect.I believe they should have a few more children parking spaces.

You need to school some of your till assistants in patients and consideration. When shoppers have a problem at their tills. Instead of adding to their stress.

Please could you pass this onto the guys at the photo centre. They were very helpful today and even hunted behind the scenes for me so I could get a very specific 6x6 frame for my Christmas pictures. One that size wasn’t on display. They also printed an A4 Christmas card for me and said it was rare to get a card printed that size. They also had to hunt for the paper to print that. Very friendly. Very helpful. 10/10 service

Great shop for an all in one shop. Sadly, they have more than halved the amount of staffed tills, so now rely on self checkout. For a shop of its size it is not enough. Christmas would be a nightmare.

Shop here few times a week. Always have everything we need. The only gripe I have is with the plastic packaging used on the vegetables. It's getting silly. We should be reducing plastic waste. Putting plastic around every single vegetable is ridiculous. All vegetables should be able to be brought individually. There are many product lines that do not require plastic. Vegatables, bread, fruit to name a few. Bring back the meat and cheese counter. Surely paper packaging, that has been around for ages could be used in these areas instead.
Cafe poor service poor food.I had bacon sandwich which you have to put together yourself.bacon was cold took it back still cold.asked about toastiest yes by we we haven’t got any.won’t go there again

15 mins off shopping to spend 50 mins trying to get out the car park. Frozen food all defrosted. Frustrating as would only take a one way system to sort. Won't use that Asda again not worth the hassle.

Only had three people on the entire self scan and scan & go on at 6.30 on a Friday evening. They'd closed the actual scan & go section so we had to queue to even get in and then I had to wait for ages to get seen for a quality check. Poor staff run off their feet. Then the scanner crashed so I had to queue again to go through the checkouts. Took over 45 minutes from finishing shopping to leaving.

Not enough people on tills for my liking not everyone likes self-service...... Come on ASDA (short for associated dairies) get a bit more money on the table for the till staff

Don't use it only use Tesco for shopping as the club card points come in Handy when you're short of money other wise I would use one of the lidi or Aldi stores but when I was in Tesco last month went to pay for shopping @ the checkout & the assistant on the till decided to change over with the other person standing there so I said that I had been there waiting to pay after they changed over& they where both very rude saying to go somewhere else if I don't like it so after a long wait I eventually managed to pay for the shopping & left the store
