I love Thai food and like to cook it at home but these people know how to do it properly. We always order something different and it is always a revelation.

On a recent trip to Hayling lsland, more a break than a trip .We had the great pleasure of visiting Agaligo , as we have visited Thailand, on a few occasions, we thought it great to indulge in a meal, seeing as how we both love Thai food ??, we were not disappointed ❤️, food was made to a high standard, & as I am fond of " JUNGLE CURRY ", it was well worth our visit, & on any return to Hayling island, I can assure the staff, we will return , we didn't get the young lady who served us so elegantly, but a big thank you for tacking the time to chat with us, thank you so much. Best of luck to Agaligo ????❤️

This was such amazing food. My wife and I have both been to Thailand multiple times and its our favourite cuisine so this was a real find. The Tom Yum was the best we have had in the UK and we will definitely be coming back to Hayling Island just to visit here again. The tofu satay was also great. All rhe food was hot, sour and clean. The atmosphere was great and it was obviously popular.Vegetarian options: All curries, soups and stir fry's have a vegetable and tofu option. Lots of veg options for starters with a veg platter for 2+ people, veg tempura, veg spring rolls and tofu satay being the ones I can remember.

Intimate, authentic, outstandingGreat menu choices and good value for money. Fresh food that is out of this world, my favourite part was the Devine desserts.

Fantastic!! The only thing I didn't like was the 12% service charge added!! I would like to have the option to add a Tip, not have it added. I always acknowledge good food and very good

Waited so long to be served ended up taking main course home (it was awful as well). Shame, as it has potential. So under staffed and not really bothered. Not worth the £75!!

Excellent venue for my Partner's Birthday. My first visit, the decor was warm welcoming as was the greeting from the waitress. We had Duck Pancakes for our starter, plenty of tasty duck. For the main we both had Lamb Masaman Currys with an Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Noodles between us. The flavours of them all were exquisite with good sized portions. The service was both attentive and helpful with a surprise Birthday Pudding to end our meal. In summary a perfect celebration evening, we'll be definitely going back.

The best Thai Green Curry I've ever had.

Service slow and worrying (thought he was going to drop everything) food disappointing. Too many tables in too small an area. No ambiance!

The best Thai takeaway I have ever had, we were visiting from London. Delicious! Would come to the island again just for this food!

Constantly excellent food, the best restaurant on Hayling. The staff are very pleasant at attentive. They always bring iced water. The room is quite long and thin but nicely decorated.

The experience has definitely made me very wary. I think before eating read the 1 star reviews and you will notice repeated consistent issues. Diners are walking out of the restaurant. The responses to complaints/negative feedback are simply denied and fault is placed on the diner. The abuse you receive when you politely explain when asked that the food is not palatable is not acceptable. I have warned my family to not eat here and the (assumed manager) style confrontational, intimidating, overacting to the point of presenting his views at the table and outside the restaurant. He (assumed manager) does not consider his other diners - as he is confrontation in front of them and also his rather unfortunate employees who I can only assume have seen his behaviour responses regularly. He is unable to listen to genuine client feedback. (The behaviour of the assumed manager is not what you would normally expect of a restaurant who values their customers). I compare my experience at the Agaligo to a scene in Fawlty Towners. Do not eat here, if your meal is not good you will be expected to eat it (he actually keeps the returned n edible food and presents it to you at the bill stage). He will add items to the bill that never arrived and include these in his argument as a genuine error... be careful check your bill. I was presented with the worst kind of customer service that I could ever imagine and was pressured to pay for it and shut up - I should say I stood my ground and acted as I believe right and paid for what was consumed as edible. But I was threatened with intimidation that I believe was unwarranted abusive over the top over one returned plate of food. I am expecting a farcical reply from the manager including evidence from CCTV and other odd retorts (based on all the other reviews). My response to the manager is to take some time out to examine your behaviour and impact on customers and employees. To anyone planning on using your restaurant who take the steps to provide you with feed back is - you will not be prepared for the response it is outrageous.

I was very surprised to find the best coconut rice I've ever had that's not in Thailand!!! Very rich, creamy and full of real coconut flavour and fragrance! The curry was delicious and the atmosphere very friendly. We saw a chef come out and show the table next door how he makes the flowers from carrots and displayed his amazing cutting skills! Would love to return but we don't live here. We were visiting Hayling Island with 3 other families, we all loved this place!
