Great food, nice choice of drinks, pottery studio upstairs that's open certain times.Must haves are the pain au chocolats, sausage rolls and bloomers.It's also in a great location as you can have something from here and then wonder up the Billy line.They also have pizza but yet to try it. Its on my list

94 Elm Grove, Hayling IslandMy wife and I stayed in the area for 2 nights and booked a table in this restaurant for one of the evenings and glad we did ! Booked a table via their website which was easy and the communication was excellent! When we arrived there was a steady flow on f customers both in the restaurant and also takeaways clearly being picked up and going out for delivery too. Decent menu with lots of choice. Had starters of onion Bhajis and mushrooms stuffed with mince which was delicious ?!! I have a chilli chicken main and my wife has a dish (can't remember the name) but was lovely flavours! Whenever I have a Indian meal I always have Bhindi Bhaji side dish and the okra again, was lovely! Pilau rice and a coconut rice where decent sizes and very good! The Peshwari naan was probably the best one we have ever had anywhere and made a point of telling the guy waiting on us ! Decent meal, excellent service and well priced! Definitely return if/when in the area. While we where there two large parties arrived which where clearly locals which says to me they have a good name withing the area , baring in mind there are two or three other Indians in close proximity.

Agaligo
51 Station Rd, Hayling IslandOn a recent trip to Hayling lsland, more a break than a trip .We had the great pleasure of visiting Agaligo , as we have visited Thailand, on a few occasions, we thought it great to indulge in a meal, seeing as how we both love Thai food ??, we were not disappointed ❤️, food was made to a high standard, & as I am fond of " JUNGLE CURRY ", it was well worth our visit, & on any return to Hayling island, I can assure the staff, we will return , we didn't get the young lady who served us so elegantly, but a big thank you for tacking the time to chat with us, thank you so much. Best of luck to Agaligo ????❤️

Elm Masala
129 Elm Grove, Hayling IslandBeen coming to this restaurant, for sit in dinner and takeout for over 10 years. Have tried others on Hayling but ALWAYS go back. The food is GORGEOUS, the staff are friendly and very attentive. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. We even travel from home (near Heathrow) to eat now too. Xxx

West Town Inn
52 Station Rd, Hayling IslandI have been twice recently.. last week I took my parents for Mother’s Day and although it was really busy there the food was lovely when it came out… and this week it was my birthday had a meal there with parents and brothers family we all ordered different things and everything tasted really good … not 1 of our group had a complaint about their food … the staff were attentive nothing too much trouble… well done to all the staff and Maxine for creating an atmospheric pub with great food … we will be back ?

The Hayling Billy
139 Elm Grove, Hayling IslandDon't let the dark looking windows put you of going into The Hayling Billy, once through the door you will be pleasantly pleased. They have screens for sporting events a pool table and a lovely outdoor seating area.Not sure if they do food, so can't comment.We will call in again when passing.

Ghandhi Tandoori, 58 Hollow Ln, Hayling IslandWe found Gandhi Restaurant purely by accident whilst visiting Hayling Island and can honestly say it was one of the nicest Indian Restaurants we have experienced, staff and service were excellent and with such a lovely atmosphere and the food was absolutely gorgeous ... would highly recommend , would certainly visit again when in the area 10 out 10

No food served, but local to many takeaways within a minute.Parking: About 12+ public spots outside the pub, more a short stroll, paid parking across the road.Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids.

6b Elm Grove, Hayling IslandVery nice and friendly cafe, and it is certainly well used by the locals.My only disappointment was the lack of bacon in the bacon sandwich. Certainly next time I visit, i shall remember to bring my own bacon.

Beach Café - Hayling Island
18-20 Sea Front, Hayling IslandFriendly staff, family run cafe. Dog friendly, but most importantly delicious fresh food. We had a BLT baguette and a cheese burger and both were freshly cooked to order and very tasty. Plenty of fillings and sauce in both burger and baguette and lovely quality bacon and burger patty. 5 stars will be coming again. We also had the Ice-cream after, which again was great!

The cocktails were delicious, you’ve got to try the raspberry ripple, it’s punchy!!Great atmosphere, friendly staff this is the place to visit on the island for a great night out, highly recommend

Ferryboat Inn Sinah Beach
Ferry Rd, Hayling IslandTasty meal of sausage and mash followed by rhubarb crumble and a yummy vanilla custard. Staff were great not pushy but checking everything was OK. It was quiet when I was there in the evening but enough people to give a relaxed atmosphere.Parking: Parking is free with a voucher if you are eating.

The Maypole

A dog friendly pub, fed our Labradors with plenty of treats and provided water for them without having to ask. A nice honest pub offering great food, excellent service and a nice warm and relaxing environment. Definitely worth coming back for, thank you.

Coastguard Cafe
14-16 Sea Front, Hayling IslandI travel from Watford to Hayling for fish and chips from the coastguard whenever I can I've never had a bad bit of fish in all the years I've been going it's the best fish and chips I've ever had... the people are lovely too try it your never go anywhere else lovely.

47 Station Rd, South Hayling, Hayling IslandI have to say the overall quality was very good ordered some stuff for myself and my kidsThe 3 staff members really nice polite and helpfulThe chips where really nice some of the best i have had from a fish and chips and the battered sausage was spot on tasted like a decent quality sausage so overall the food I can not fault what so everNow I will say the shop itself needs some work for what they say is a award winning fish and chips the sign outside is broken and the interior of the shop needs some love battered paintwork and the chairs inside I could get newer 1s from a charity shops just old and dirtyOverall a lovely fish and chip shop well priced I felt but was disappointed when standing inside waiting for my order it was a little grim

The Barley Mow
Manor Road, Hayling IslandCarvery good, service good but whoever thought up the idea of sundae in a waffle obviously hasn't tried eating one. Nothing to do with the Barley Mow I know, they are only following instructions. Please bring back old sundaes. They were delicious
