Friendly welcome and not too busy when I arrived on a windy Good Friday. Perfect for a relaxing lunchtime meal. Food was good and didn't take too long.

We attended for a belated mother's day meal as a party of five with a dog. The place was very busy and despite us informing at time of booking, the table was in a section that didn't allow dogs. We waited for a bit to get the table which was frustrating. The staff were apologetic and obviously with it being busy there wasn't much they could do, and mistakes get made so we didn't want to make a fuss! The serving staff were welcoming despite being clearly very busy. There was a fair wait for the food but the place was buzzing and a nice atmosphere so it wasn't a surprise it took a while. The true disappointment came when our food arrived. The fish and chips looked good but the burgers ( X2 chicken and one cheeseburger) looked awfully sad. They were small and didn't have much on them mlother than a squirt of sauce and some lettuce. There were fries, but not manyy and that was it! The chicken was ok, obviously freshly fried but there wasn't anything particularly special for the price paid. The burger was apparently dry and tough. It was a bit of a disappointment overall and though the location and staff were good, the food really didn't justify the nearly £115 we spent there.

Just had a pint of Guinness with my dog. Got the best view in the house. Lovely pint. Friendly staff.

Food was average but very pricey compared to other similar restaurants. Roast dinner could have been warmer. Car park is expensive pay and display as owned by council and needs maintenance, lots of uneven ground and very flooded on the day of our visit.

Nice stop while out on a motorbike ride with mates. Staff were great and accommodating for a group of 10.Next time hopefully the weather will be better ?

Still great location, but size of the burger was a joke. My son's kids fish meal was bigger than mine and half the price .
Such a shame the food was delicious but service wasn’t the best, the waitress we had was lovely but the lack of communication over the wait for food was

Poorly run venue that looks run down from the outside. Food expensive and staff rude. Avoid avoid avoid, much better

Great fish and chips in a lovely setting. Nice dog friendly area. Went in the week at lunchtime so was fairly quiet.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish and chips

Absolutely shocking sandwiches. No butter on the bread, the bread was dry has been sitting around and the fillings tasted awful. For the first time in my life, I actually asked for my money back which I received. The problem no doubt wash the chef in the kitchen, who couldn’t be bothered. I Would never go again there again.
