Having moved nearby I can say I love this place. Great food, nice choice of drinks, pottery studio upstairs that's open certain times.Must haves are the pain au chocolats, sausage rolls and bloomers. It's also in a great location as you can have something from here and then wonder up the Billy line. They also have pizza but yet to try it. Its on my list

This artisanal bakery is a testament to the art of bread-making, a place where the love for a good loaf is not just understood, but celebrated.Upon entering Locoloaf, you are greeted by an olfactory embrace that only fresh bread can offer. The aroma is so enticing, it's akin to a warm, yeasty hug. The ambience is unpretentiously charming, with a rustic decor that resonates with the authenticity of their products. The selection of bread at Locoloaf is nothing short of remarkable. Each loaf is a masterpiece, crafted with meticulous attention to detail and an evident passion for quality. From the classic country sourdough to the more adventurous varieties infused with nuts, fruits, or seeds, there's a loaf for every palate. The bread's crust is perfectly crispy, giving way to a soft, airy interior with just the right amount of chew. What sets Locoloaf apart, however, is the taste and longevity of their sourdough. Each bite offers a symphony of flavours – a harmonious blend of tanginess, nuttiness, and a subtle sweetness that lingers on the palate. This is sourdough that tastes like tradition, yet feels innovative. Moreover, the bread retains its freshness and texture remarkably well, a testament to the quality of ingredients and the skill of the bakers. It's not just the bread that makes Locoloaf exceptional; it's the experience. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, eager to share their love for sourdough with customers. They provide recommendations and are always willing to share insights about their baking process. In conclusion, Locoloaf is more than just a bakery; it's a destination for bread enthusiasts. The quality, variety, and taste of their sourdough are unparalleled. It's a place where the craft of bread-making is revered, and the results are delectably evident. For those who appreciate the finer things in life, particularly when it comes to bread, Locoloaf is an unmissable experience. The 30-minute journey to this bakery is not just a travel; it's a pilgrimage for the palate, and unequivocally worth every minute.

A hidden gem - delicious bread, pastries and coffee!Sadly no photos, as the pastries didn’t survive long enough, they were just too good!

Came in for the first time on recommendation and wow the bread really is one of the best sourdoughs I’ve ever had. Great texture, flavour, and value. The staff and the customers there are so friendly and welcoming I’ll definitely be returning again.

This is an amazing place and well worth a visit. It's a bakery that sells wonderful freshly baked breads and cakes, and also offers its wares with a selection of drinks to eat in or outside on patio furniture. We had a very cheesy toasted sandwich, cooked to perfection, while our car was being MoTd a few doors up at Furniss Autos, and took away some cinnamon buns for later. Definitely somewhere we'll visit time and again.

I loved the sourdough bread only a little bit bright inside ? The cinnamon rolls were also very delicious. This bakery I found as an German on the south coast was till now the best one.
