My only disappointment was not having come here before. Food is lovely, hot chocolate is fab and the lady serving was very friendly. Highly recommend.

I visit the base cafe every now and then, usually to co-work from, the wifi is excellent, the service is outstanding - my dog is given treats and the food offering is of good selection. The space is a really pleasant despite busy place to visit.I'll be back again.

I use this cafe because it’s the only one at the business park. The food and coffee is usually good. It’s expensive but it’s also a captive audience on the park so I get it! I visited this week and they seemed to be woefully under staffed. I waited over 20 minutes for a take away coffee. Piles of dirty plates in the food prep area and around the cafe. I felt sorry for the girls but I seriously question the hygiene!! I watched one girl prepping a sandwich with no gloves whilst talking on her phone, touching all sorts around a chaotic area of dirty plates. I’m not a cleany freak but seriously this was not good. The service is generally slow anyway I always need to allow half an hour to pick up a take away. Whoever owns/manages this place needs to review the staffing numbers and give their existing staff a chance to actually serve customers effectively. Plus make sure the cleaning up is much more organised, it was a mess. It’s a shame because the food and choice is good.

This coffee shop is definitely a firm favourite of mine, my sister and my mum! Mainly to do with the fabulous service we get! They even remember our orders, we love making a trip to this coffee shop! We bring 2 little ones in so they can have lunch while we have our lovely coffees! Thank you again everyone at honesty!!

Was looking for somewhere for a drink and stumbled across Honesty at The Base. Thought I'd taken a wrong turn as entrance is past a security office to a big industrial estate. Food a service was great though, milk shake got a thumbs up
The coffee is always hot, fresh and just to my liking. We use the Base regularly, at least 3 / 5 times a week. The staff and very friendly & helpful and both inside and out are very clean . All the food, especially the cakes are excellent value.

Came to visit the exhibition which was brilliant abs the staff were great BUT we then popped into the Honesty Cafe fur a drink. 3 milkshakes and 2 chai lattes…all only tasting of milk. We first mentioned the lattes and, after for another shot of Chai, we were reluctantly given one. Then the young people we were with mentioned their milkshakes tasted only of milk. On trying the shakes we had to agree so mentioned it to both members of staff behind the till who just looked at us and then told us they had put 2 scoops of ice cream in so that can’t taste of just milk. We suggested next time they should consider less milk or varying the recipe. She looked very surprised that I believed the young people with us over her and was quite on the defensive. Not great customer service skills! Another person in the cafe at the same time had the same issue with the milkshakes. Very disappointing - we won’t be back!

The coffee and cake were fine. It's just the service was extremely slow, I had eaten my cake and still waiting for coffee. We only called in as we were passing, probably won't bother again

We visited on Saturday, for the first time, after a trip to the gallery. My partner simply ordered a milkshake to take away - the young blonde girl making it started to pull bits of ice cream off the scoop with her fingers and then lick them. She proceeded to scroll through her phone and then dig around in her ear - I wish this was an exaggeration of what happened. Needless to say, the shake went straight in the bin after we left. Some serious training required.
