“Spent a lovely 4 hours with friends for Sunday lunch. Food was amazing, staff great, and lovely with our dog. Booked table and said with dog, and there was a bowl fresh water and treats waiting for her.
Will definitely go back”

“Popped down around 3 as it was my friends birthday and got a drink and Ice cream. Lovely pub in a quiet location. My Friend ordered a fudge sundae which was huge and she was very pleased. Sat outside as I had my animals. All round nice experience”

“Good date night at The Chequers, went for the lobster which unfortunately wasn't available but had the crab instead which was very tasty. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly, atmosphere was brilliant.”

“Friendly staff and fresh food. Nice coffee, with a flower shape in the froth. Outside seating in on the main road, but nice in the sunshine. Today my latte has a swan on the top. Also, newly opened is a garden seating area. This is away from the main road, which is nice.”

I quite often meet in here on a work basis. The team are always friendly and helpful.
It can get very busy at times with other local groups meeting up as its part of the community centre but it does clear quickly again. There is outdoor seating and dog friendly too. ?”

“Delicious Sunday roast yesterday. Yummy gravy. Yorkshire pudding and beef. With a fantastic view over the fields in the garden.”
“Went for Sunday lunch with the family and honestly it was exceptional. The meat, potatoes and gravy were top drawer, great ales, welcoming service and lovely cozy pub interior all for a very reasonable price - only wished we lived closer. Thank you.”
