The Derby Inn, Bartley Heath, HookVisiting my parents and Mother In law I have brought them here for food on a couple of occasions . We ate on Saturday lunchtime . My father is in a wheelchair and they are very accommodating. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Elaine . The food is higher market to the average Uk pub so worth paying that little bit extra. Will be returning

Colt Hill, Odiham, HookAbsolutely blown away by the flavour of the mixed quesadilla, the owner was unbelievably accommodating and enthusiastic about his food which is not hard to see why now having tasted it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The Longbridge Mill
Sherfield on Loddon, HookParty of 3 and had a very nice meal here sitting outside in the lovely sunshine. Waiter was attentive and very nice young man. He lit candle on table for us to help keep the insects at bay which was a nice touch and appreciated. All the staff were pleasant and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Only issue was price of the alcohol. My large glass of wine was £10.70 which I feel is on the higher end of average. Live locally and probably would not return even though we enjoyed it as out of our price range unfortunately.

London Rd, HookWent in after the fun run yesterday, it was busy as expected, one of the lady's behind the bar looked like she didn't want to be there but was very professional.
We ordered 2 roast dinners and after being told there was a 40 minute wait food came out quickly.
Would eat here again and highly recommend

The hotel has been decorated for Xmas beautifully and no expense has been spared. We had drinks in the bar, then went to the main restaurant. The service, wine and our meal was amazing and we have no complaints. I actually asked to speak to the restaurant manager as our server, Alex provided great service, conversation and additional treats. Cannot fault anything. I will agree with other reviews that there were a lot of children in the restaurant but not sure how this would distract from an amazing experience and warrant a poor overall score. Most children were well behaved and it makes the hotel a great place to be and a great atmosphere. In fairness, one would expect lots of children this close to Christmas. Please keep up the good work.

The Green, Eversley Cross, HookVery welcomed, recognised as we've been for years on and off. Manager friendly and accommodating to request for off menu cheese and pickle sandwich a classic pub favourite as a vegetarian. Delighted they sell the drink Coke now and no longer Pepsi. Waitress really friendly and good at her job, which was great.
It would be nice to find a pub selling a vegetarian burger so we could all eat burgers as my family ate an adult and child's menu one, both fresh and good. Vegetarian menu slim. Bread in sandwiches not bad but even better if not frozen fresh bread and completely fresh.

Best Hook Kebab
A30 London Rd, HookBest kebabs for miles around, served in immaculate conditions. I work in Basingstoke and live in Fleet and, guilty though I am to admit it, I have tried most kebabs in and between the two locations, and that’s a lot of kebabs. This one is the stand out for me.
The chips are also exceptionally good, v crispy and always taste like they were fried in clean, good quality oil.

Staff were welcoming & cheerful.. from the moment we entered ( about 11-50 am on a Saturday). Lunch/food was really good,, possibly too complicated for an early lunch/snack.. ( all 3 of us..had food left over..to much salad ect,, similar to size of bread baguettes,,). Also wondered why a simple Cheese on Toast..need French fries with it ??...Its a lovely pub..with lovely staff.. Could do with a simpler menu,, more basic at midday..

Food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly cooked with care. Portions were generous and everything came out hot and well presented. You can tell the kitchen knows what they are doing.
Service stood out. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The owner is a genuinely nice person, takes time to speak to customers, and makes sure everything is right. That personal touch makes a big difference.
The place has a relaxed atmosphere and feels comfortable for both family meals and casual evenings out.
You get good value for money, solid quality food, and great service. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

London Rd, HookRecently moved to Hook and thought we’d give it a try. Food was spot on! Lamb Dansak and Lamb Korma both excellent. Even the onion salad was better than usual. As long as the food keeps being this good we’ve found our local curry fix.

We both had sausage n mash and it was fantastic, great flavour, decent amount and nice and hot.

Northwarnborough Street, HookI am very grateful to the staff at this bar. My car blew out around here at night and all tire shops are closed. My English is poor and I can't communicate on the phone. The staff at this bar helped me book a hotel on the phone and wrote me the exact location of my flat tire in case I couldn't find it the next day. At the same time, she left her phone number, and if anything happens, I can contact her again! There was another lady in the bar who drove us to the hotel. They are so enthusiastic and helpful. I am really grateful for what they have done for me!

Ravenscroft, HookAnother real find. A great little coffee shop with a very nice breakfast offering. We had a mixture of Adult and kids pancakes plus Eggs Benedict. Photos say it all, really nice quality and would recommend a visit. Its also next to a childrens play area and open field. Parking is easy, food is great, prices are very good. (Indoor and outdoor tables too)

The people who served me were super lovely, it was quick too as I wanted it to go. It was very reasonably priced as well so I will definitely be back!

Breakfast was questionable with golden syrup being served the pancakes instead of maple syrup. (No body asked prior to dishing them up) , poached eggs were overdone, I had brown toast instead of white and apple juice instead of orange juice.
Lunch was lovely and I’m told the chicken nuggets were amazing.
Location was great and would stay again because what was wrong could be rectified with more attention to detail.

CAFE BARISTAS, London Road, HookThe waiting room at the garage was being renovated so I went for a walk and ‘found’ this after a 30 minute walk. What a way to start the day. Espresso and hot water served separately shows the level of attention to customer satisfaction.
The toasted breakfast bloomer sandwich was on another level!

The St, Eversley, HookSpent a lovely 4 hours with friends for Sunday lunch. Food was amazing, staff great, and lovely with our dog. Booked table and said with dog, and there was a bowl fresh water and treats waiting for her.
