The reservation system failed. Anyway, we turned up and got a table, not busy. Nice restaurant and layout, good decoration. Three real ales were off. The food choice was excellent, and our food was good and timely. Service was good, but they forgot the kids' crayons. Looked like a lovely setting outside. Beware the River, and keep an eye on young kids.Vegetarian options: Several choices, but we're not veggie.Parking: Disabled slots are limited to the size of the car park.Wheelchair accessibility: Oversized doors, Stone tiled floor.

Went here with a large group for lunch. Nice old place with some low beams - watch out! Large car park. A smaller range of sweets were available on the day we visited, but substitute ones were available. We paid up front for the main course which had been ordered in advance and again for sweets ordered later. This was different from other places, but big groups are a problem for both the venue and the group. Programed tills help a bit in some venues but still remain complicated. The White Hart has a system that is reasonable - advanced ordering, so prep can be done early, preventing long delays before eating and individual bills without the complication of sorting out payment of combined bills or tills that have a mind of their own. A special part was a short history of the building by one of our hosts and many pictures to back up the description. Well done.

We used to eat here regularly in the distant past but have only been back a couple of times since it changes ownership. We had a lovely meal each time we visited, the restaurant has more of an upbeat atmosphere these days and that works well. The only issue is that it is a long way from public transport.

Me and my partner go out for new years and end up staying at a hotel for convenience. We've stayed at local hotel in the past but when this hotel got refurbed and we saw the price we thought we'd give it a go. The room was immaculate, very spacious and modern. It was like a better premier inn to be honest. The 12pm checkout is amazing too. For the price it's worth every penny. If had to critic the room, the bed being a super king is nice but it is pretty hard. That being said I slept all night and even had a little nap after breakfast. There was a weird knocking coming from ceiling too, which was rather annoying but didn't really affect the overall experience.
