We went there as a family for breakfast. We ordered the hearty breakfast. The sausage we got were different to everyone elses. It was dense and sour. We first thought they had changed the brand as we have been there before. But on seeing other orders come through we had been given different sausages.The toast was burnt on both sides and our lattes were warm. We were not given sugar with our drinks. All in all it was just a bad experience. The young lad behind the till was sweet though.

I've tried using the pre order collection service on 3 separate occasions and it's been awful.I made my order one Saturday around 11am and got confirmation 'thank you for your order,' but when I arrived at the cafe 20 minutes later it was closed.. surely you would turn off the ability to place an order on your website like any other business does. Opening times on Saturdays 8AM - 4PM according to the website.The second occasion I ordered, when I arrived around 20 minutes later they seemed to have no idea that I had ordered until they searched for it on their system so I ended up waiting a long time. No apology.The same thing happened today, the pre order had not been acknowledged and waited 55 minutes for a couple of bacon sandwiches. No apology again.You need to have a system where you have some sort of notification that someone has placed an order on your website. If you are closed when you are usually open or extremely busy then don't allow orders to be placed online at that time. Come on, this is really basic stuff.. and if you can't do that maybe just get rid of the pre order option because it's making your business and staff look incompetent.

Young staff show inexperience by ignoring me for five minutes. Not particularly interactive although they were busy. Coffee not hot but bitter. Standard breakfast they had no mushrooms and only offered another hash brown hmm. Whole breakfast I would award a 6 out of ten. Uninspiring place and food

Popped in to get lunch with a friend. The food was lovely and served up quite quickly. It was reasonably priced and would definitely recommend. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a wonderful buffet provided by Hartletts for a 90th birthday party, delivered in plenty of time. There was a huge variety of really delicious food, with lots of wonderful choices and flavours, and all beautifully presented - something for everyone's taste. Absolutely faultless!

We used the outside catering services of Jenny and her team for a local wake in Hook. Jenny was brilliant at helping with the choices for the buffet, very personable and took the food elements on with ease. There were several dietary needs guests we knew were coming (gluten intolerant + vegans) and all of it was no problem.Both on the day, and afterwards all of the feedback on the quality, quantity and flavors of the buffets was positive. Thanks so much for taking the stress out of the food part of a really nice send off for our mum.Vegetarian options: Again, not a problem and very niceDietary restrictions: Catered for with ease, very tasty and generous amounts
