Only wanted a couple of sausage sandwiches to take away, which i did only to find them the worst i have ever had Could not even eat them and two hours later still have a horrible taste in my mouth. Had i eaten in i would have wanted my £7.20 back

Come in for a cuppa regularly now, on my way to work. Owner is always friendly and chatty with the customers, really nice guy. Don't normally have food in the morning, maybe the odd morning snack, but did have food here some few weeks ago and it was really nice.Parking: I take the bus but always free parking outside in the morning. Does get busy later on.

This is a really great sandwich shop and also does very good cooked breakfast. It has been owned and run by Tim, who is very friendly. Good food and the coffee is great! Free parking right outside the door - well worth a visit

Reliably great food with a friendly service every time. Always nice and efficient for take away orders during lunch breaks.

Tim, owner, really nice to talk to. Coffee excellent, food very good at reasonable price. Only downside is small tables, cramped when 2 men have full breakfast each!

Great cafe - so so friendly and excellent coffee (best in the village) and bacon sandwiches - we come in regularly as a group and always feel very welcome!Kid-friendliness: So welcoming to children and adults alike!

Great breakfast bap! Shame it comes with tea and I have to pay extra for a coffee. ?

We highly rate The Cafe Terrace, having been going here for a number of years. Our go to food is either to wonderful Full English Breakfasts or Sausage and bacon, or bacon and Brie baguettes. The cafe serves a wide range of sandwiches and food. Tim and his team are always happy and cheerful. We go to the cafe as a family, but also breakfast business meetings too. I can’t rate the cafe highly enough - by far the best in Hook.

So welcoming and hospitable! Had a power cut at home, phoned up to reserve a table and Tim had set it all up by the time I arrived. Awesome coffee as is the food! Huge kudos to Tim, his wife and the team! Life savers!
Very relaxing and friendly place for coffee and snacks, sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. Def recommended

Bacon n egg bap, £3.90, lovely flavoursome ingredients, unfortunately not very filling for me , needed a rollover hotdog from the garage

Breakfast was great. Despite no vegetarian breakfast on the menu, they were very accommodating and put a veggie breakfast together. The food came out quickly and the coffee was good too!
