An organised Christmas event for a large group. Despite orders being taken prior to the event the meal was disappointing. The service was poor, with some orders very late, a general uneven delivery of food and staff with few skill in customer service. Recommend better training of waiting staff.

A Fullers pub serving excellently kept London Pride by very friendly staff. Been one of my favourite pubs over many years. Changed Landlords a few times but always a friendly place to go. Please bring back Monday music

We love this place for a drink or two after work or at the weekend but called in Friday evening for the Fishy Friday offer - order two Fish & Chips and get a free bottle of selected wine! Absolutely brilliant - the fish was fantastic, a monster size portion, it was massive fresh and delicious washed down with a bottle of Shiraz! Loved it, super tasty - great offer and great value! Great staff as well - thanks guys ? ?

We booked a table for 9 people for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we were told there was no booking and were even asked for the evidence that we had made the booking in the first place and that we had received a confirmation (which I provided). I was highly embarrassed as The Frog & Wicket left us stranded. Fortunately The Chequers (just over the road) were able to accommodate and provided excellent food and service. If you are looking for outstanding food and service, I highly recommend The Chequers.

Had a late Sunday lunch here and was very impressed. Good service, lots of beer choice and the food was good quality and well cooked. Much better than the previous time we came here and now we will come back soon.

Had lunch with my wife and two grandchildren and I would sadly say that over the six years we've been going to 'The Frog' the prices and steadily increased and the quality of the food has slowly gone down. A few years ago you would get coleslaw and a small salad with the burger and chips and... I am sure the burger was bigger too. Now it's costs £17.50 and is just a burger (with a few bits in) and frozen chips, no side salad, no coleslaw, not even any gherkin in the burger. Chips described as 'thrice cooked' or whatever are still the basic frozen jobs, crisp on the outside, mash in the middle, standard cheap pub fare. Kid's burger and chips £8.50, is even more basic, a dry bun (with nothing else) and chips. Thinking of Burger King or McD's my grandson said "It's a bit boring, could have just had some lettuce or a tomato." Out of the mouths of babes...

Visited as part of a wedding reception. Lovely building opposite the local cricket ground. Staff were super friendly and helpful (especially late in the evening when we got stranded due to a mix up with our taxi arrangements! So a big thumbs up ?)The event was very well orchestrated and a great success. Would recommend ?

Went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Nice broad menu with a couple of specials as well. Service very good. Food arrived hot and good sized portions. Only downside, and it’s very small, is that they had run out of English mustard. It wasn’t exactly a disaster, but how do you completely run out and why doesn’t someone pop to a local supermarket and buy a few jars? I would definitely recommend this place for a nice meal.

Went here for a friend's birthday party and had a great time. Enjoyed the buffet food and all the Gin! Very helpful and friendly staff.

We thought the food was quite pricey for what we had.....my starter was meant to have mozzarella cheese in with the salad but it was very scarce....we ordered a side each which we were told the chef hadn't realised they were on the order and was just starting them so we had to start our mains without them!!We were the only people in there for quite a while then 1 other couple came in...poor service really...the people were friendly tho
