“This pub/restaurant serves the best food around this part of the UK, and believe you me there is a lot of competition.The food is tasty,sizzling hot, plenty of it, the pub is clean with a beautiful view across the Solent.The staff are very polite and obliging, making sure we have everything we need for us to enjoy our meal and to return on other days.Car , parking is good, with a car registration log in to make sure the park is only there for patrons Dining or drinking, and not people finding somewhere free to park whilst using the beach.For us as locals to the area, we treat the Old ship as our local pub and restaurant summer and winter.Parking: Log in to register your car number plate which entitles you to free parking if you are dining or having a drink there.”
