I ordered a cheese and chutney toastie with a cappuccino and they were both so so nice.Whether you're going with a few friends or having a nice chilled coffee by yourself I 100% recommend you come here.Thanks everyone! 5/5!!!

Unit b1, Anstice Court, Lee-on-the-SolentWe have recently moved to the area and tried this chippy the day we moved in as we were to worn out to cook.We were totally surprised at the quality and service.The portions are on the big side and they also have gluten free options.I have not tried it but they also do fish in breadcrumbs and home made fishcakes.Highy recommended.

Solent Tandoori
159 High St, Lee-on-the-SolentI have had Indian meals regularly over the past 40 years or more, including in restaurants and from takeaway establishments and in many areas of the country! I have also been to India 4 times travelling around the country trying various regional recipes so I am well informed in Indian food! I have to say that all orders from Solent Tandoori in Lee on Solent has been the best Indian food that I have ever tasted, which is quite some achievement... WELL DONE TO THE CHEF CHEF'S.... I would highly recommend Solent Tandoori to anyone and everyone.

The Inn By The Sea
177 Portsmouth Rd, Lee-on-the-SolentWent here for a works breakfast. It was my first visit, and I was not aware that it was a self-service all you can eat buffet breakfast. To be fair it is not the normal place I would go, being an ex-serviceman, I have done my fair share of standing in a line waiting to be fed. But as it happens there was hardly a queue at all and the food was particularly good for the price paid. There were the standard things that you always see on buffet type meals, the eggs had a nice rubbery texter to them and had been there a little while and the mushrooms had run out, but apart from that the sausages were of a decent quality, all the other things that you expect were there and you can go round as many times as you like. I certainly was not hungry when had finished and for the price you really cannot complain. The staff were outstanding and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. That really makes a place I think and on the strength of that alone I would be very happy to return.

14 Pier St, Lee-on-the-SolentWe decided to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary here and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was excellent and even though I ordered chicken tikka masala, he advised me to try another one from the menu. I agreed and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The chicken jhool was tasty, hot and wonderfully prepared. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend this restaurant height enough - you will not be disappointed.

If you ever want to go where the food is 100% authenticly cooked from fresh, great staff where you know you will be looked after, and a lovely atmosphere the bun penny is the place to go!

Common Barn Ln, Lee-on-the-SolentWeds night steak night at the wyvern , the steak was amazing cooked just how we like it . Highly recommend 2× rump for £20 or 2x ribeye for £25 , staff really attentive. Will definitely be going back .

4, Flower Buildings, Marine Parade E, Lee-on-the-SolentA group of 6 of us all having different main courses after popadums and chutneys. All meals were well received, even after a longish wait. Not really a problem as it tends to mean the dishes are fresh. Waiting staff very attentive. Average prices. Would return.
