We have recently moved to the area and tried this chippy the day we moved in as we were to worn out to cook.We were totally surprised at the quality and service.The portions are on the big side and they also have gluten free options.I have not tried it but they also do fish in breadcrumbs and home made fishcakes.Highy recommended.

Second time coming here. First time was good but wanted to come again before reviewing. Excellent food, chips are perfect. Crispy and tasty. I had haddock today which was perfectly cooked and the batter was so good. Also had the scampi which was really tasty and a great portion. Sausages were also good and tasty. This is definitely my regular fish and chip place now.

Always so friendly and polite. The cod is lovely and the best batter around and I usually don't eat batter because I can't stand it. This batter is more like tempura and I will eat it. Had a burger for the first time and cannot complain about anything, it was lovely. Not dripping in fat, and it was big. Usually you get all roll no burger, but this was vice versa which is how it should be. The chips are amazing too. These are extremely good value and top quality.Parking: Disabled bays too.

We drive past a couple of chip shops to get to Solent’s Finest, the clues in the name as to why! Really good size portions. Delicious fish, not at all greasy. I’ve never had the feeling that a meal was greasy after having food from here. 2 fish and a regular chips does two of us easily. Recommended.

The fish and chips are lovely they cook our fish extra crispy and well drain it for us i have to be careful with greasy food but their batter is superb and nothing is too much bother and the staff are so happy and friendly
Awful and expensive. £14 for fish chips, curry sauce and a can of drink! Chips did not taste fresh looked like they had been re cooked. Fish was poor quality and greasy. Didn’t eat most of it and was left hungry, won’t be returning and recommend going somewhere else.
