Cafe • “Such a great experience at the Larder! We have been twice this week, first for a lovely lunch. We liked it so much we thought we would book in for the tapas on Friday evening. Wow what an experience, Carl the owner creates such a fabulous atmosphere, he is so passionate about all the food being served and is so involved himself in the cooking and service. Great mixture of meat and veggie options on the lunch and tapas menu. Such a great experience for a reasonable price, we will definitely be visiting again! Thanks Carl and team ☺️”
Cafe • “Called in for a late lunch. I had the hog roast baguette and partner had the same, but in a sandwich. It was delicious. Service brilliant and staff friendly. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.”

Cafe • “I have managed to get to the seaside 5 times this 'summer'. Normally a very healthy eater, when at the seaside I treat myself to a fish/sausage & chips. Each time (except yesterday) I have been very disappointed in the standard of the food. (Soggy / limp / cold chips mainly). The Needles Eye Cafe, however, provided me with a bag of excellent chips which were the best I can ever remember having eaten (in my life and I'm not young!). My only disappointment was that there weren't more of them and that my order took so long to arrive, although worth waiting for.”

Cafe • “Being in a powered wheelchair people often ignore me. The lovely lady that served us today was welcoming and engaged with me and treated me normally. You have no idea how much this can make a difference in a persons day. Thank you. Ooh and the pizza slice was lovely too.”

“What a great vegan restaurant! The salads change daily and are so unusual and delicious. The sandwiches with chosen fillings are very very good. I particularly liked the egg and salad, very tasty! The pastries are also incredible. The brownie just melted in my mouth. Only criticism is that they only have pea milk which I can't have and to be honest I'm more partial to oat milk in coffee. My group was a mixture of diets not just vegans and everyone enjoyed their meals.”
