Am surprised that this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star, I've been to many in the past and this restaurant is better than than some of those. The service was very friendly, knowledgeable and just the right amount of attention. Food was really well presented with excellent deep flavours with great combinations of ingredients. The tandoori cauliflower was stunning and the dessert on the tasting menu was as good (or better) than any Michelin starred restaurants I've visited. A must visit.

20 High St, LymingtonHaving visited several times, I can honestly say it just gets better and better! The food is wonderful - so fresh, full of flavour and a million miles from the usual sad vegan options. And the Sunday roast is to die for - as a non-vegan, my husband was initially dubious but came away saying it was the best roast he'd had out, ever! Can't recommend Tinkers more highly - if you're not sure, give it a go and see for yourself! ❤️❤️❤️

But I don't suppose you win 5 consecutive Asian Curry Life Awards without knowing your way around a tandoor.A first class dining experience, I'm no stranger to a butter chicken, but the Zaal Makhani elevated this to levels I have not seen since my days in India. The sauce had a beautiful spice level, but the star of the show was the onions, peeled to perfection, with the love and care that they are so sadly often deprived of.The flavours of home, in the heart of Lymington. I am tempted to message Larry Page personally to up the maximum rating on Google to the 6 stars this 'Mecca' of curry deserves.

Borough Arms, 39 Avenue Rd, LymingtonWhat a treat to find excellent Thai food here! We had the lunch menu, which was such a good value, and will be back to try more of the options on the full menu. The drunken noodles with veg had a huge amount and variety of veg, not just the token peas and carrots you get sometimes with veg options. I look forward to our next meal at the Borough Arms.

The food was fabulous… I had the tagliatelle starter (melt in mouth) and pork main (divine, tasty & filling)My husband had the duck parfait (very tasty) and the beef medallions (cooked to perfection) … we were full so didn’t partake in a dessert but had a beautiful bottle of rose and will definitely be back… next time not leaving it so long! Thank you for a lovely meal, wine & atmosphere! Very very happy

Started with a flat white coffee which tasted spot on.Was toying between various food options, was watching the plates being served to other tables loaded with toast.I went for the Haven full English...The place was busy so we had to wait for it but I prefer freshly cooked and that's what we got, but my plate was overflowing.Sausage n bacon, great quality, eggs x 2 perfect accompanied by beans, mushrooms and large tomatoes....I managed 1/2 of toast and the meal, but only just...I would normally have 2 small coffees but couldn't manage any more incoming....Top marks, great service, our table front waterside was the best...wow.

S Baddesley Rd, LymingtonA super hotel with 2 restaurants. A lovely open fire. It wasn't busy. The fine dining menu was slightly more pricy and the portions were smaller. The room was stately and service excellent. Parking in the front of the hotel. Toilets were lovely too. I would have liked to stay in the hotel.

We were made so welcome, as was all the other clients, including a young lad who was given a pirates headscarf from the owners dad who does a very good impression of a pirate. Top marks to a very quaint and friendly village cafe.

Parking can be a bit tricky as the car park adjacent is for hospital staff only. That said it is clean, the food is fine & the prices are sensible. If you are after a full English or a bacon roll or jacket potatoes this represents very good value for money.

Hordle Cliff West, Cliff Rd, Milford on Sea, Downton, LymingtonHad some lovely food from this place! Bacon and Egg baps had generous amounts of bacon inside and were delicious. You can tell they use good ingredients. Cheesy chips also lovely, chips were fluffy inside and crispy outside and cheese was good quality. Would have been even better if the cheese was melted a bit. Tea was nice and ice cream yummy. Price was very reasonable as well which is refreshing for a seaside food place! Great service too! Would highly recommend.

The Square, LymingtonWe held a skittles evening at Pennington sports and social club and I ordered 40 suppers from here. The staff were really helpful and the food was first rate. Piping hot and excellent to eat. I asked everyone for their comments and there was not 1 negative one. Totally recommend them. Mister Pink's is obviously a very popular place because people were queuing up outside the door at least 10 minutes before it opened and a constant stream of customers were coming in as I left. The cod and chips I bought were a good size portion and a reasonable price. However, I bought some mushy peas as well and a small pot cost £2 which is outrageous when a tin of mushy peas in the supermarket costs 39p. Also, a sachet of mayo cost 30p which should have been free. All sauces cost extra 30p. They should be free.Wheelchair accessibility: None

Truly Scrumptious
11 Quay Hill, LymingtonWhat a wonderful find! An unassuming exterior hiding a warm, friendly welcome and wonderful, freshly prepared food. The fresh baked pastes were the best I have tasted outside of Cornwall. As I lived in Cornwall for a good few years, I was taken straight back with the flavour. I have now tried the local crab baguettes. Sweet as this can come and plenty to fill my fresh bread. I will return!

Station Rd, Sway, LymingtonWe booked a table for four on Mothers day. Good service, friendly staff, great food. Will absolutely go again soon. When we arrived, mum got a glass of prosecco. We had starters (calamari, garlic musrooms in cream sauce, ham hock terrine and prawn cocktail) which were very tasty, and well presented. For main we all had roast (2x lamb, 1xbeef, 1xpork). There was plenty of vegetables - crispy roast potatoes, a yorkshire pudding, carrots, parsnips, leeks. We added a side of cauliflour cheese. It was all delicious and we even had room for pudding - two creme brulee and two sticky toffee puddings. Despite being very busy on Mothers day, the service was prompt, and food was hot.Parking: The pub has no parking itself. There are nearby residential on-street spots. There's also a railway station within walking distance (with a small uphill incline).

Boldre, LymingtonLovely steak and Ringwood ale pie with mash and veg, fish and chips and paella. Ringwood ales behind the bar. Youngish staff were excellent, knew the menu and were very friendly. Great to have our orders written down and read back to us. We are in The Forest five times a year and have been coming here as far back as the 80s.
