The fish and chips were very fresh and tasty. Mister Pink's is obviously a very popular place because people were queuing up outside the door at least 10 minutes before it opened and a constant stream of customers were coming in as I left. The cod and chips I bought were a good size portion and a reasonable price. However, I bought some mushy peas as well and a small pot cost £2 which is outrageous when a tin of mushy peas in the supermarket costs 39p. Also, a sachet of mayo cost 30p which should have been free. All sauces cost extra 30p. They should be free.Wheelchair accessibility: None

Bought chips for lunch. You need to check for opening hours though. Mini

The best fish & chips in Hampshire.Generally faultless but today & maybe a stock issue I recieved a much smaller bag, maybe 6" long which meant the fish was broken on entry & just fell out of the batter leaving it's flakes everywhere amongst the chips.Almost impossible to eat with fingers as became like mashed potato. Such an oversight & ruined a real treat.Hopefully not shrinkflation.

Our 2nd visit, the batter on the fish just melts in the mouth, fish moist and chips perfect. Tried a pea fritter this time that was lovely too !

Really good quality fish and chips. Not a bad price £10.50 for a good size portion. Recommend driving just down the road and eating them with views of the needles and the Isle of Wight.

Customer experience leaves a lot to be desired, whilst the food was above average the experience of purchasing food was way below par. Being the only fish and chip shop in town they often have a small queue out the door. However when you have been served you are sent outside again to wait 5-10 minutes at the side window. This may be ok on a hot summers evening but not on a cold night, and especially sending pensioners outside to wait , this isn’t acceptable in my book. The other negative is the shop doesn’t have an adult in sight , just 6 extremely young members messing about and being usual crude 18 somethings making inappropriate comments. Most would go un-noticed but I didn’t go outside to stand when advised to, and instead waited in the ample shop front area. This isn’t reason enough to send people outside though. People should not be sent outside , if there isn’t enough room left inside to stand then customers should be free to make the decision if they wish to wait in an alternative location. Lovely fish and chips , fish wasn’t greasy at all and the ships were proper chips !!! I had a pea fritter as well which was delicious!! The wait time wasn’t to bad either especially being a Friday night in the summer !!! Highly recommend ??

Really good fish & chips! Nicest chips around. Portion sizes are individual and not as large as most chippys. Can get very busy, meaning service is quite slowParking: Gets very busy in the streets so usually have to park in the car park round the corner which is free after 6pm

The chip shop was super busy tonight but the staff managed to produce piping hot Delicious fish and chips efficiently and quickly. Particular mention to Ella who was so smiley and polite and got my order ready . Thank you

Normally ok here, but tonight they managed to not put 4 fish in the order. Went back and the owner questioned me as if I was trying to pull the wool over his eyes, as if I'd drive 40minutes out of my way to try my luck. Order was then completed, only for 5 of the 8 of us to have what appears to be stones in our food.Service has gone drastically down hill here over the last year. Won't be coming back again.

Tasty cod and chips to eat on the Green. However, beware that because of staff shortages there are very limited opening hours - Thursday early evening, and lunch times and early evenings on Friday and Saturdays. I think that there will be lots of disappointed visitors who will expect to be able to get fish and chips at the seaside.

Ordered 2 cod’s with 1 medium & 1 large chips. Upon opening the bags the chips were exactly the same, small.Whilst eating on the beach another family also realised they did not get what they ordered & returned to the shop.Watch out.

We had a takeaway for four on a Friday night, 6.30 pm and I thought it would be very busy, so I phoned the order through in advance. I went in and paid, went to the collection window and got the food within five minutes. The food was excellent, piping hot and tasty. We all had haddock and shared two regular portions of chips which was plenty. The fish were huge, hanging over the edge of our dinner plates. There are a couple of negative reviews on here and I have to say we have had food from here several times with no complaints, I would recommend this and will keep using them in the future.

We have gone here regularly over the years and never had a bad fish and chips. Always reliable with excellent quality fish and fresh chips. We were shocked with our recent meal how it had deteriorated. The chips were as if they had been cooked and then reheated and the fish was small and greasy. We wonder if it has changed hands and it has new owners. We were very disappointed and will put us off going again.
