Very slow to non existent service, food no better than Weatherspoonsthe bottle of wine we had to beg for was literally dumped on the table and no wine glasses ( where do they find these people !!)we had to go to the bar and ask for glasses. We decided not to have a dessert as we were not even offered a dessert menu! ,with staff walking around totally ignoring usthis is easily the most expensive and worst meal experience of my life !

We had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn. All the staff were so friendly - special thanks to Steph P who handled my allergies amazingly, checking and double checking all the ingredients to make sure I could enjoy everything! Food was lovely (crispy duck salad and trio of desserts) and very generous portions! Will have to come back next time I'm in Lymington!Dietary restrictions: ST

Spent a couple of hours here on a rainy Tuesday evening, with family. The atmosphere was very relaxing and there was no rushing us at all. We had 3 dogs with us and they were treated really well as well. Now onto the food… it was incredible! 4 of us had pork belly, without scallops, and it was amazing. So soft, so tasty and much to everyone’s happiness it also came with crackling! The rotisserie chicken was big, but perfectly cooked and the chips were nice and crispy. The dirty burger was also very nice! What a lovely place to eat and spend some time with family.

Had a lovely meal when on holiday - interesting and delicious vegetarian options. Staff were very friendly and helpful - thank you Sophie! Also, made sure we had space suitable for my Mum who is a wheelchair user. Looking forward to returning!

I ordered the belly of pork and my wife ordered the steak pie , the food came out and it looked really nice , I cut a bit of and it was just pure fat , I cut another it was the same , I'm a butcher by trade and in my view the end of the belly should of not been cooked in the first place , they gave me my money back ?

Mother's Day special. Food was nice, although the chicken was a little dry. Service was very good. Good amount of time between courses so didn't feel rushed.

Beautiful spot on the harbour. Only pub where you can see and watch the boats.

First-rate friendly service from all staff, welcoming environment, top-quality food, good value, great choice, superb location! Our host Trevor made a special effort to ensure everything was to satisfaction (x5 people) during and after the meal - it's always the small things that make a big difference! I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you just want a quiet drink or nice meal with all the above! Thank you! ?
