Cafes in Lyndhurst
“We visited here specifically for the pizza because they have a massive pizza oven we’re everything is wood fired, made fresh right beyond your eyes. There is a good range of flavours to chose from. I had the meaty and it was very flavourful topped with crunchy peppers and lovely Cumberland sausage! The garlic bread with cheese was also very good as were the chips! The waitress was very kind, welcoming and friendly - she even remembered us from last time! It’s a very modern, clean establishment with lots of light. There’s even a garden area where you can sit, drink and dine for some fresh air. The deserts are all showcased in a cabinet which shows of how decadent they look. I definitely recommend the toffee cheesecake: that was very good! Overall, this is a very good restaurant where everything is made fresh and homemade with lots of flavour. The friendly service and nice ambience also makes this a good place to come anytime breakfast, lunch or dinner! I will definitely be back!”
“My grandfather passed away this morning and used to love his holidays in the new forest. We came to GWT this lunchtime and it was so comforting on a very sad day. Their vegan options are always amazing, but to be able to have a simple meal of vegan sausage roll, chips and beans was comforting in a way I cannot express. The friendly staff and wonderful service made such a difference. Vegans will know how difficult eating out in this part of the country can be.”
“Friendly welcome, friendly service and very important......dog friendly. I had a Nutella Latte, which despite the Nutella was not sickly sweet and would definitely recommend. Both had same baguette, prawn with spicy avocado, a nice extra touch was the baguette was slightly warm, a trick missed by most English cafes. The salad garnish was fresh and crisp, it complimented the baguette as opposed to just being used as a plate filler. Cost....great value for money.”
“Lovely little cafe, with a great selection of food to choose from.2 breakfast baps, full English and veggie breakfast ( happy to substitute hash browns for egg) on our table and they were all Lovely.”

“Very nice branch of Costa. Not overly busy when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was easy to get a good seat at the front window to people watch. The coffee was it’s usual good standard. The staff were OK. It was a clean shop. Difficult to park nearby.”
