We enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends and their dog. Great friendly service, food was lovely. The pies are so full of meat they are amazing. I think the prices are reasonable too. We only ate here we didnt use the hotel.

Popped in on a Monday lunchtime, we were given a very warm welcome and a nice table near the open fire. We each had a starter and sides of chips and salad. Thoroughly recommend the sticky Korean cauliflower and the Wild mushrooms. I have to say the chips were some of the best I have had , fluffy inside and crispy outside and really hot. Thank you .

Lovely food and wonderful staff!! Bit of car parking out the front or parking on the road. Had a lovely warm and cosy pub feeling when we entered. We will definitely go there again!

Have driven past the NewForest Inn many times so popped in for lunch, the welcome service and food was all exemplary. One of the Nicest place we have found in the area. And very dog friendly too a big plus ! Would highly recommend.

We stopped here for lunch after a recommendation from a friend, the area was lovely, easy parking and lots of horses freely roaming for the grandchildren to enjoy. We had the roast beef and chicken sandwiches with fries , these were superb....the cut of the beef was quite thick and cooked pink which we loved! The staff were very accommodating, polite and friendly, had a lovely couple of hours here.

We felt welcome from the moment we entered for lunch.Very traditional and rustic pub and has a proper country feel about it.There is a great selection of beers and the sandwiches were delicious. The pies looked incredible and will have those next time we stop in!

What a lovely little place we stumbled upon! On our way to Dorset for our 10th anniversary we spotted this with the Concierge Horses out front (picture) and stopped for lunch. Cannot explain how welcome we were made to feel. The service was outstanding and the BBQ chicken sandwich was a nice filler before our journey onwards!Thankyou ?

The service was excellent (every staff we met), so were the meals (delicious and sufficient portion). The location and the size of car park might be a bit tricky for people, especially on a raining day. The settings in and out are both well designed, very relaxing and comfy feel, put you at ease as soon as you enter. Will definitely visit again.

Went for a short midweek break and would definitely go back taking family and friends. Lovely little hotel which is definitely up and coming with all the improvements. Food portions are massive! Lovely staff. The perfect location for walking and pony spotting.

Ate here for dinner and had a great time. the staff were super fast, attentive and friendly, with great senses of humour as well, making the whole experience very joyful and full of life. The food was delicious, if such a word can do it justice. Would love to eat here again.
Exceptionally clean bathroom! Great service, attentive staff. Lovely sunroom in the back and outdoor garden seating. The presentation of the food was great, we had the sea bass, new forest chicken sandwich and steak and ale pie. For the pie, the portion size was huge and the chips were good and crispy.

This would have been a solid 4 stars if it wasn’t for a few things. This pub has a lovely interior and garden and generally has a good atmosphere around the place. The place is also very clean. There is a good drinks selection and a varied menu. However the food itself was a little disappointing. I had the chicken burger which was lovely but my chips were stone cold. This isn’t the first time that has happened here. The roasts were plentiful however my wife said the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding was stodgy and the dish lacked a punch. All in all I will return here but the food needs to be hotter and the quality needs working on.

The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The manager was very helpful as our booking had been messed up by a booking app. He sorted it all and made it a really super overnight stay. The breakfast was also fantastic!

Set in stunning woodland this Inn is exceptional. Food quality, food quantity, service and staff friendliness is off the charts. Always worthy of a visit when returning from Dorset beaches! 11/10
