We had a Thursday night date night here. Excellent range of food and wines. I chose the platinum white wine flight and we shared the ultimate sharing platter for 2. We couldn’t make our minds what to choose for food, so we asked the waiter to surprise us. He asked a few questions and made some great choices for us. Plenty of food and lovely presentation. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. We will return.

Great service & atmosphere but I'm sorry to say that the food didn't live up to expectations.The menu on their website makes it look as though there is many more varieties of cheese & meat to choose from when in fact the actual restaurant only serves around 12 of the cheeses & 12 of the meats at a time & I think this needs to be made a lot more clearer.The little chalk boards that you are presented with that show the cheese & meat on offer looked pretty worn which makes it hard to figure out how it's spelt - especially the cheese, because you either have to search the internet to find out what type of cheese it is or you have to ask a member of staff as there is no description on the board.The cheese that is on offer is very good & I have no complaints at all but I'm afraid that the same doesn't go for the meats. It was on par with supermarket packs & looked very similar as it was very thinly sliced & very uniform. To be honest I was expecting it to be cut from the actual salami by the chef or person that prepares the board but it looked as though it had been taken straight from a pack & then arranged on the board.If you would like a charcuterie experience with a better selection of cheeses & meats with very well written descriptions then I would thoroughly recommend Porters in Southampton.

I have walked past Renoufs several times and thought I would like to visit and I’m so glad I know have (yesterday). It was a pit stop visit as we needed to be somewhere by 15.00pm but what can I say. Wow… the cheese and meats and everything that came to accompany it was delicious. The presentation of the food was incredible, I literally couldn’t wait to get stuck in. I washed it down with a delicious Pinot Grigio and my only regret is that we didn’t order the pork pie as an extra.We will definitely be back. I may even now come down and stay for an evening nearby just so I can experience Renoufs one evening without the worry of driving.Thank you so much.

Great selection of wines. We had a flight of reds and shared the platter. They could cater for vegetarians with veg pate, humous and some of the huge variety of cheeses. Loved it and recommend this wine and cheese bar very highly. The guy in charge was so knowledgeable and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our Renoufs lunch. We had a cheese and charcuterie sharing board and a vegan board. My husband particularly enjoyed the trio of tasting wines he ordered. It's a great way to try some new wines without having to buy a whole bottle of something.

Treated my Welsh boyfriend to a renoufs as it is a lovely southern treat, the food and drinks were as good as ever, so much choice for cheese, meats and wine that we couldn't just stick with 6 and had to get an extra cheese on our board! We were served by Michael and he had an extensive knowledge of everything on the board and made it a wonderful experience especially with the platinum Red flight considering the information he had to share! Service was fast and we didn't leave a single thing on our board! Cannot recommend highly enough, my favourite dining experiences have always been at renoufs across all venues! A luxury experience for very reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: All cheeses advertised as vegetarian when applicable. Staff also have great knowledge of why some cheeses are not vegetarian (something I had never considered!)Dietary restrictions: Nut free venue, nut safe, pasteurised cheeses advertised clearly

Really buzzing atmosphere a mix of couples and groups but all having a great time. Marsha and the team were friendly, attentive and engaging despite being really busy. The platters are amazing plenty of choice, variety, quantity and quality.

Third visit to Renoufs,once sitting in the window seat good experience during the week. 2nd vist sitting at the bar four stools good experience,today's experience not good, they have doubled the places at the bar, not enough room to swing a cat being knocked by staff and customers. Wine and food still good but they are trying to squeeze to many people into not enough space. Will never visit again sardine can not a good place to eat in
