First visit, good menu. Apparently new staff so service could have been better.Good quality food. Got the bill wrong but after four attempts successful. Not put off though as enjoyable visit.

It was an incredibly wet day and my friend and I arrived for a warm cup of drink. The staff were rude and officious when we sat down without permission. And continued to be abrupt and discourteous. I will never want to go back. Felt very unwelcome.

Staff were very welcoming and smiley! Finding us the best table to accommodate our baby in pram. The cake was absolutely delicious! We had the apple fudge cake and our son had the millionaire shortbread which also looked great but we didn't get to taste that as it was gone in seconds! :-DThankyou for a great start to our holiday!

A lively spot right in the middle of Lyndhurst high street; a very random find and I walked in simply because it was almost packed during lunch hours which is a good sign! And I wasn’t disappointed, great vibe inside mostly locals I guess, food options were simple but plenty and I tried my first Welsh/ Lyndhurst rarebit.. didn’t know what to expect so what I ate was good.Enjoyed a nice cuppa after alongside a lovely warm scone with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Service was all right.Overall a very good experience.
