The White Rabbit is a lovely pub with good food and a warm atmosphere and most of the staff are very friendly. It is all ruined by the barman with too may earrings. For example when asked what flavoured bottled ciders they have he merely pointed at the fridge, he didn't speak a word whilst 6 of us ordered drinks and he quite obviously didnt want to serve us. The only time he spoke was when we paid for the drinks he asked if we would like to leave a tip. An truly terrible service. Disappointed.

We had booked for a Sunday lunch and could get table which was well worth it as the place was packed. There were a couple of big parties one was a table of 15 which went as we entered but the other group was 18. However we had our order taken pretty quickly and we got our food quickly as they had just started taking plates out to the big group. The food was hot, the portions more than ample and cooked very well. Tasty, hot and enough for anyone I would say.Food & drinks: All good

Just got back from a lunch for 13 people and we loved it. We had a ton of changes to our orders, special dietary requirements and kids.The staff were super accommodating- special shout out to Debbie who looked after us all so well!Lovely food and drinks and will definitely be back!

Have stayed here on many occasions but each time it just seems to get better. It has an excellent location just a couple of mins walk to centre of town. Rooms are always clean and fresh. They can vary in size but have all you need to a comfortable night away. The evening meals have improved every time we have stayed and were good to start with and the new full breakfast is very filling, in fact I had breakfast with friends and we had something different from each other and they were all very good. The service is excellent from all the staff under the influence of Bunny. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Cant wait for our next visit. Stopped here for a late dinner, and we were met with a friendly barman and host who immediately offered us a table of our choice. The service was excellent and friendly and very accommodating to us with our toddler who needed a high chair and a separate plate but had mostly his own supper. The food was great and very quick, and I can say try and leave space for the deserts as the ones we had were perfect (Triple chocolate Brownie with ice cream and an apple tart with cream).I will certainly be visiting again on my next trip to the new forest.Food & drinks: Good food served quickly and in just the right quantity to not be over filling or too little. The barman/waiter knew the menu and had his own recommendations, which I tried, and it was a winner. They had a selection of ciders draft and bottled as well as a good selection of wines, spirits, and beers.The hostess/waitress brought everything out in a timely manner and checked on us to make sure all as in order.

Just had an amazing weekend in which I stayed here. The rooms were extremely spacious and the bed was very comfy. The staff were very helpful + friendly at all times of the day and would even tell us about things going on in the local area. I also proposed to my now-fiance in the room!

This is not my first visit and definitely won't be my last. Absolute great and fast service, with a good standard of food. Staff are always so kind and welcoming to returning and new customers, can certainly say it is one of the best restaurants in the area, with an idiosyncratic surrounding, you can always enjoy the view.

Had a really nice stay here. We had a really warm and friendly welcome from Dan and great service from Debbie at breakfast. I do think that staff make or break a place and I can honestly say that everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Great choice of beers/lagers and the menu was good, quite a lot of choice and prices reasonable (between £13-£24). We ate there both nights and we couldn't fault the food, it was delicious. Comfortable room, not huge but perfectly adequate. Plenty of parking too, plus a great outside area It is near a reasonably busy road but that certainly didn't put us off. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant and would happily stay there again next time we're in the area.

This hotel was such good value, a short walk from pubs & restaurants, and perfectly central for pretty much everything! What really stood out was the staff, everyone was so cheerful and friendly! The rooms were fine, nothing fancy, but taking into account the location & such helpful staff, it was the right choice for us. The bar & garden are were perfect for chilling after a day of touring around. We would stay here again for sure.

We were so looking forward to our annual trip to the White Rabbit on our way home from the Isle of Wight. We have been every year for the last few years and it really finishes the holiday off nicely!! We had booked in earlier in the week for 2.15 so we could get off the ferry ???? and get there but the traffic was horrendous so we rang to say that we were going to be 15 minutes late. The signal was bad but I think they knew we were coming but when we got there we were told that because of the hot weather they were closing at 3 for food and already had a back log so wouldn't be able to accommodate us!! Gutted as we had always eaten here to finish off the holiday!!
Wow what can I say. Myself and my partner booked a table here for ourselves and our family for our wedding dinner. It was a small wedding so only wanted somewhere to eat. The staff here went above and beyond to make the room look absolutely incredible even down to the finer details. Something we didn't ask for due to keeping it low cost. But wow they did such a incredible job, we couldn't of asked for better service. The food was amazing 5* all round. Thankyou so much for making our day even better.

It’s a pub/hotel but with a really super menu which is so much better than standard pub grub but at very competitive prices. We had the Kerolan Chick Pea Curry and the No Leaf Salad with Salmon and enjoyed a mini dessert each - the best brownie I have ever had!Do yourself a favour and book a table at this gem ?Richard & Lynda

We came here on the way back to London from Hordle. The staff were so accommodating and made sure we had a fantastic table. They provided our dog with a blanket and a bowl of water. Bunny, who was serving us, had a great rapport with our four children and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic and all service from other members of staff was also great. If we were local, we would be regulars. Thanks for a lovely meal to end our holiday!

From the minute we walked through the door we were given a very warm welcome from happy, friendly staff, all of whom went out of their way to accommodate our requests. The hotel itself is located centrally for the New Forest area, and staff were on hand to recommend local places to visit. Breakfast and dinner were good, our room was big and the general ambience cosy and welcoming. When we return to the area we will book this hotel again - highly recommended.
