My favourite bakery in the New Forest, all the food we’ve tried has been so so tasty! The quiche is my favourite but we have also had the pasty’s, steak slices, bacon rolls and their Dorset apple cake is the best!We have eaten here on many occasions and never once been disappointed.My only tiny annoyance is that they sell out of everything early so if you arrive around 12 for lunch the options are limited as it’s all gone due to how popular this little gem is and sadly we have ended up next door in Greggs a few times which is a shame as not only is the food miles better from The Bread Basket, I would also rather choose a small business to support ☺️

Very good nice friendly staff good bread.And good hot sandwiches sausage bacon + hot pie's pastry's etc. The shop is very small so sometimes a bit of a wait. And a bit cramped once there's more than 6 people in.

Best bakery in new milton.Fresh cakes daily.Rolls, baguettes, baps or sandwiches made with anything you want, right on the spot.All different kinds of pastry products.Really friendly staff.Would highly recommend.

Proper old fashioned bakery offering a huge range of freshly made hot and cold food. Really good quality at very reasonable prices. So much bette than the mass produced stuff from places like Gregg's. Keep it local!
