1 Old Milton Grn, Christchurch Rd, Barton on Sea, New MiltonJust had the best (and my first as new to the area) Indian takeaway meal from The Raj. Great menu choice and although it was a takeout the restaurant was really cozy and lovely so to eat there would have been a perfect night out.
I had the prawn pure which was delicious- such a rich taste, followed by the chicken Bulthi with pilaf rice and a peshwari naan.
Staff were so friendly and the food was ready really quickly.
I’ll definitely be back.

36 Old Milton Rd, New MiltonI ordered 3 chicken burgers (which we were very pleased with) and two lots of fries which were warm (not hot) when they were delivered and were quite tough. By the time we’d finished eating, the fries were cold. This was disappointing as previous times we’ve ordered them they were hot and crispy. We will order again in the future and hopefully things will be back to how they were.

The food came quickly, it was a very delicious classic British Chinese Takeaway.

Yes it was very busy & they seem to be having food issues, the staff tried to do their best but it was not good enough for some, it was a hard watch for an onlooker. Well done to staff that got through the day.

Lewis was amazing, overly apologetic as the till was down, the coffee machine wasn’t working, and the WiFi was down. However, the food we ordered was divine, 2 full breakfasts, a cheese melt and a pulled pork&cheese baguette. Quick service, reasonable pricing, pretty garden, comfy chairs. Was a lovely last stop before going home from our weekend away ? thank you!

4 Osbourne House, Station Road, New MiltonDog friendly (although a water bowl would had been nice), the slope going in is steep so disabled or elderly may struggle but I believe there is little that can be done with that. Staff were super friendly and genuine, very accommodating, prices were fair. The food was really nice and cooked exactly as requested, everything was really fresh, nicely presented and the whole cafe was very clean. I would definitely return and whilst there we noticed that there were many regulars coming in to dine and that's obviously a sterling endorsement.
