Nicest scones I have eaten for years! Staff really helpful and caring.

Nice food and quick service, but the staff were not all the most friendly.

This is a fantastic tea rooms buried in the middle of the New forest. We had a s scones and creams. They were utterly delightful and morish. If you do order a scone remember it's big, in fact very big and very filling but so delicious. Highly

A rather disappointing visit after many good visits in the past. The New Forest afternoon tea is not very good value especially as the choice of pastries was so limited. This was particularly disappointing as we had booked over a month ago. Service was very slow.

We come past here, on the way back from walks in the New Forest. Thought that we would stop off for a tea cake and a cup of tea. Lovely old world vibe, great service and a lovely teacake and scone to share. Very reasonably priced also. What is not to like!?

Stopped here for lunch, enjoyed tea and a nice rarebit. Solid all round. We were outside with a dog so no view on inside seating.

Great food. Only complaint is they don't allow dogs inside, although kindly give free dog biscuits. We ate outside as we had our dog with is.

A lovely cafe serving good food. It's like stepping back in time with the decor though... But I guess that's the feel they want to achieve for an old train

This has the charm of the railway sprinkled around and some lovely old memorabilia from the former station. The cafe is set in what is made out to be an old waiting room. It desperately needs more light, especially in the winter. But the cafe itself was let down by the wait staff who were overly focused on their own conversations beside the coffee machine forcing our group to wait multiple times even though there were 5 wait staff and less than 40 covers of which maybe 12 were full. The food was pleasant but lacking the polish other similar establishments in the region have, especially at the price points being targeted. I would recommend heading for Burley or Lyndhurst and their offerings.
