Fez is a real gem! We've been a few times - always thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We haven't been since the end of Covid and visited a couple of days ago. Just as good as ever - and a fantastic reception from the lovely Bilsen. Why had we not returned sooner? We will be back soon.....

Food is nice here but the actual restaurant looks very tired, dated and could do with a major refurbishment. It looks like your sitting in someone's front room from the 70s.The main waiter is also very peculiar. Every time we visit it seems like he is doing us a favour by giving us a table. He often says we can stay for approximately 1 hour. In the mean time the restaurant is always empty. Even when I leave and pass by an hour or so later.He also likes to seat guests by the toilet. If you ask to sit on an alternative sized table he doesn’t seem to like it.Portion sizes are also on the small size, things like salad and rice which are inexpensive to provide are very small compared to other restaurants. All in all a very strange little place.

Absolutely cracking place to go. Fantastic food and staff who love to look after you, it's intimate and cosy. Great prices and cocktails are yummy lol. Food is very authentic and made to perfection.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Good with children although it's small and so well behaved young people would be ok rather than curious toddlers I think. Great for couples and small groups. They have two function rooms too for parties which is great ?

Read a few great reviews, so decided a Saturday lunch visit would make a change from the usual 'pub lunch'. Enjoyed a delicious 2 course meal here with 2 friends. The service was relaxed and friendly, delightful decoration and could not fault the food. Was good to see quite a choice for the veggies (me)! My lunch dishes of hummus with warm strips of pitta and a good size bowl of thick lentil soup with more pitta was 10/10. My friends enjoyed more meaty options and declared the flavours as excellent. Lovely place that deserves the number 1 ranking.
