Fez is a real gem! We've been a few times - always thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We haven't been since the end of Covid and visited a couple of days ago. Just as good as ever - and a fantastic reception from the lovely Bilsen. Why had we not returned sooner? We will be back soon.....

The Harrow is our favourite pub, but today was exceptional as it was cold and rainy - where in the world do you get hot water bottles and a special fire built for your private lunch in the garden under shelter?The food is always delicious and the quirky homely atmosphere is always a delight to share with friends and family. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Josie's in Southampton, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere.The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the scones. They were absolutely delicious - perfectly baked, with a light and flaky texture. The scones were served warm with a generous dollop of clotted cream and the most delectable strawberry jam. Each bite was a heavenly delight.But it wasn't just the scones that impressed me. The cakes at Josie's were a sight to behold. They looked absolutely stunning, like little works of art. From the intricate designs to the vibrant colors, it was clear that a lot of care and attention to detail went into creating these beautiful treats.Overall, my experience at Josie's was wonderful. The combination of delicious scones and visually stunning cakes made for a truly memorable visit. I highly recommend stopping by Josie's if you're ever in Southampton.

Was here for a family birthday party. Staff were friendly and checked when we'd be ready for food so it came out at the right time. Good was great, I had chicken wings followed by pulled pork sandwich, both treated delicious and portions were pretty good. Pub itself was nice, your typical English village pub.Parking: There's a car park to the rear of the building, was plenty of space when we arrived, there's also parking around the green opposite.Wheelchair accessibility: Small step to get in to pub and interior cramped, so not particularly accessible

Nigel is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much and his thoughtfulness is quite fantastic to the weary traveller.Our room was very generous in space and comfortable, parts did need a refresh, but the views are wonderful and open fire in the withdrawing room was a rare treat.I will definitely return for a weekend getaway as a base for exploring more of the area.

Years later.... My favourite Indian in the south.Used to be my local takeaway but now a drive away. Would take the trip just to collect or eat in. Very good service and excellent food.

What a lovely pub! Came for drinks on Friday night and had a warm welcome from the locals, the dogs and the landlord David. Returned on the Saturday night for dinner. We shared the Tempura Prawns that were perfectly cooked- crispy and hot with a sweet chilli sauce on the side. We wished we'd ordered one each instead of sharing!Then for our main my partner had the Meon Burger with additional cheese and bacon. He pronounced it extremely juicy and tasty. It came with coleslaw and skin on chips which were clearly homemade and very moreish.I had the homemade cottage pie which was topped with mash and cheese. This was the best cottage pie I've ever eaten. Apparently the cook's grandma's recipe. It came out piping hot from the oven with peas. Proper comfort food.It was torture waiting for it to be cool enough to eat.Suffice to say this is a wonderful pub and judging by the cakes on the bar I suspect it's an equally good daytime cafe David and his team are very welcoming and made us want to stay longer.Highly recommended!

We came here for lunch after a long hike. Lovely staff they were so helpful and the menu has a huge variety of GF food. Freshly baked steak pie and pork crisps were delicious. The duck was fabulous highly recommended!! Bite size dessert platter was so good pistascio macaroon is my fav. Would definitely come back!

Had the pleasure of attending my nephews wedding at this venue and it was an excellent day made very special by the staff and management would highly recommend The Half Moon, if you are looking for an all inclusive wedding event with ceremony and reception also the food served was delicious .

My wife and I had lunch here whilst visiting relatives in Petersfield. We found the food and service exemplary, I am afraid I did not get the young man's name who served us at lunchtime on Tuesday 27th February 2024, but he really needs a special mention, he was attentive, engaging and caring and was a real credit to the establishment. We will definitely re visit when we are next in Petersfield.

Spicelounge never fails to deliver. Quality service and truly great food. Was feeling a little zesty when we popped in and splashed out on the Hyderabadi Shank, I decision I've had to live with since as each meal fails to live up to it. Strong recommend.
