The go-to fish & chip place in West Hampshire. Fantastic flavour and fast & friendly service. Most often a bit of banter in the queue too :) We are so lucky to have Mother Kelly's in Petersfield!

I made a detour to get some fish and chips here.I'm so glad i did.Had to wait 8 minutes for freshly cooked haddock, well worth the wait.Crisp chips with soft centre. Perfectly cooked as was the haddock, fresh with a crisp batter.Bonus was getting chips for free as an OAP at lunchtime.10/10?

This was a takeaway. We have had a few over time. which have always been nice. However the one we purchased on 02 November 2023 was revolting! Both the large cod and haddock (and the haddock cooked fresh) had really thick hard batter, but soggy mush on the inside. The fish was dry and tasteless. The chips weren't what they normally are either. Probably a one off, but very disappointing.

Popped in to grab some fish and chips before walking around the lake. Had a great chat with the owner, good choice on the menu and more importantly, great sausage and chips! Will be heading back in soon. Would recommend.
Gluten free Thursdays has been such a find. Lovely fish and chips, and even gf vinegar.

First time I've used this place, excuse the pun, have to say, quietly impressed, fish was delicious,cooked perfectly, batter nice and light, chips perfect, only negative being in customer service myself, girl serving needs to be a little more engaging,she was serving me ,yet the girl next to her Said she had a problem with her till, well that can wait until you finish serving the person your with, unless it's life and death, I expect you to finish with Me first ,then solve the issue before serving the next customer, It just doesn't look got ,It makes you feel less important as a customer.
