Lovely place, food is good and tasty. I had the hunters chicken and it was lovely and moist. The decor was cozy and clean, prices aren't bad. Would go back.

Stopped in while waiting for National Windscreen nearby to get a job done, they were so slow I had to venture out. Found this place on foot and glad I did! Good food at decent prices! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere!Will be back again when in the area!

Good away supporters pub , drinks where reasonably priced, didn't have any food , so can't rate it really what I did see coming out the kitchen look tasty and well presented, only thing I could say was the mens toilet is watch yourself when washing and drying your hands getting hit by the door when people are trying to get in the toilets ?, they have plenty of car parking with 2 disabled bays

Staff are really welcoming and accommodating.Vegetarian options: Our daughter had the plant based burger and really enjoyed it.Parking: Two parking sections, one entrance on the Eastern Road, the second off Moorings Way. Disabled bays aren't very wide, unfortunately.Kid-friendliness: We were there when several tables had young children. Half term.Wheelchair accessibility: One access is a ramp.

Suits me for when pompey playing at home,also think there is a new landlord doesn't seem to be as busy as it was,the prices have gone up unfortunately and still plastic glasses on match days so I think it's time for a change

Pub food as expected. As pub food is pub food. But value for money is up there. It's nice for the price for sure, so cannot argue with it not being top tier as was such a good price. I had the Beyond Burger and they asked me if veggie or vegan - excellent as often I end up with vegan condiments and cheese etc despite preferring the regular. Have a senior menu at a good price for older folk who need smaller portions. Good deals and good selection of dishes for all the family.Good selection of lager. Peroni, Estrella, Madri, Birra Moretti as well as the standard staples. Excellent as I am a lager person.Last came here a few years ago and was good but more of a local. Definitely more chain vibes but more drink selection along with it, whilst retaining a good vibe.Above all else, the staff are absolutely lovely and we felt more than welcome despite the fact that they've been busy. All so friendly.Do be careful on the Greene King app as, when ordering just drinks, it doesn't create a ticket properly so the bar staff can't see it. Were super fast and helpful when we asked and not their fault. I only used it to order a sneaky round without being noticed by companions.Dog friendly which is rare, especially amongst chains.Modern and cute interior. I greatly appreciate there being a box of tampons etc in the loos for when you're cut short without one in your bag. Clean loos, especially despite there being loads of kids here. Must actually check/clean them, which is lacking in so many places.ETA they also have a good selection of spirits.Definitely coming back when I come back to pompey.Vegetarian options: Plenty of interesting options that aren't veggie burgers, but veggie burger also nice.
