Lovely pub, the staff are great, very friendly and can't do enough for you. The good honest pub grub is always hot and presented well, great for a quick lunch or an early evening meal. Honestly can't fault this place.
Called in for pre match drinks as an away fan visiting nearby Fratton Park. Very busy, but excellent service and atmosphere, with a mixture of Portsmouth & Bolton fans. Well kept Green King beers on hand pump & usual range of lager & cider on draught. Bar food on offer, but didn't have any. Lots of outdoor seating & car parking. Good meeting point before a game.

Came for dinner on Christmas Day alongside family. Have to say the food ( starters/main’s/desserts ) were amazingly tasty, The only downfall I have is the veg ( sprouts ) on the main could have been cooked a bit more but apart from that everything else was perfect. Service was quick and met all expectations. Definitely recommend this pub to anyone who likes a quiet pub/restaurant.
