The staff in the Poundland next door came in here drunk obviously after a busy shift I assume they were ordering their lunch however 1 was already eating potato chips which I assumed he had purchased somewhere, the Poundland guys were loud aggressive and shouting and laughing loud while Greggs staff refused to kick them out and just looked on

You could train your foreign employees to say "hello, bye, thanks etc to customers. I wouldn't expect a smile but just basic common customer skills would be nice.

Always love the atmosphere in this shop and have known the staff and shop for years as I was street homeless in the surrounding area for a few years. Been off the street 6 years now but I still remember those times like they were only yesterday. The guys were always so welcoming and helpful and I owe this shop loads. Even the little things like making sure I had my hot water bottles filled up in the winter for me and my dog candy (OK ok both were for my dog but hey she was everything to me and still is) it's those little considerate things they did that used to make my life worth living - and I just felt that they needed to know that!!Thank you Greggs North End xx

Great pasties as always. Just I find Greggs service has slowed down and usually a wait in line.

I am a Support Worker. I work with street homeless people. Yesterday in the pouring rain I needed to support a client to charge his mobile phone as he was expecting an important call from a Housing Provider. The staff at Greggs in Northend, Portsmouth were extremely kind, non judgemental and helpful. They allowed two homeless people I was working with to sit inside out of the rain to charge the mobile phone. They did not enforce that they bought food and drink. I did buy them some hot food and drink but it was not made a condition of charging the phone. Across the road at Subway we had not been offered any kindness, help or humanity. Well done Greggs for showing care and humanity to fellow human beings who needed you....thank you
