Bar • “What an absolute gem! We broke a long car journey for a fireside lunch at the Fish Inn. The welcome, ambiance, food, and beer were everything we could have hoped for and more. Their home made onion rings were the best I'd ever eaten!It's well worth navigating the windy narrow route through town to reach this picturesque historic pub!”

Bar • “A wet Wednesday in Ringwood. Went to curry garden with my wife and son. Nihat looked after us superbly. All our food was excellent - Pathia, Chicken Saag, and a chicken hathora from their Bangladesh menu which tasted fab. Bindi bhaji made with fresh okra was so well cooked and delicately spiced. It’s just a great Indian run by lovely people.”

The atmosphere was ok, but it was lunchtime on a wet and windy day, so it would probably be a lot better in the Summer or evenings.The young guy who brought us our food was friendly and helpful and totally embarrassed that our order was wrong, the chefs fault.Other than that the place was lovely and I would go there again.Parking: Prices are not too bad for the large car park. There are even FREE public toilets.”
“Surprisingly really good. Perhaps rather cynically expected standard cook chill pub food via a microwave but no! Started with really super friendly waitress, got us drinks quickly and took food order the moment we were ready. Ordered fish and chips and beef Stroganoff expecting Mr Ping (microwave) pre-cooked stroganoff. Nothing like it. Absolutely beautiful packed with flavour with New Forest mushrooms and slightly pink beautifully tender beef. Wow. I rarely give such an acclaim but it was excellent and would be happy to be served this dish in any restaurant. The fish was really good, crisp non oily batter and cooked to be flakey but moist. Chips super fluffy inside and crisp outside. Simple food but so often cooked poorly but not this. The Beams doesn’t have a cook, they have a Chef who cares about the food they produce obviously prepared and cooked fresh. Well done, great food, lovely waiting staff, ice atmosphere. Brilliant.”
