Visited today for a spot of lunch and a pint with the good lady whilst we were in the Ringwood area.We love this pub and have visited in the past, but not for some considerable time as we haven't been in Ringwood for shopping.....Served by a very helpful and pleasant young man at the bar, friendly and attentive..Food was excellent and I mean excellent!! Arrived hot, beautifully presented and the best meal out we've had in a long time ?Sent compliments to the chef and already planning a return visit with friends...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ???Dean and Steph, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne.

The service was great we were advised there would be a wait due to a large party but we actually didn't wait that long. The meal was well cooked with extra gravy. I had roast pork my husband had turkey with all the trimmings. For dessert and excellent date pudding with lots of sauce and gingerbread ice-cream ?. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely return here.

Popped to the Fish Inn for a Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint. Apart from very tasty food and a good selection of drink, the staff made us feel very welcome and looked after us.

Looking forward to nice fluffy factors which, although, they were great tasting, were solidily dense and quite dry, however the white bait and seafood risotto were excellent, thus 4 stars for food.Service was excellent, but only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as we were early diners and not many other customers.

I was impressed. It's not Haut Cusine.. It's was very good.. All three dishes were of a very good standard .

Unusually, it was a quiet night, hence only 4 stars for atmosphere, but the usually good service was exceptional! Our waitress was really personable - professional, but relaxed and friendly - so we made a special mention to that effect on leaving. We had the steak deal for Butcombe Loyalty members, which was beautifully cooked (chips excellent), but would have liked the option of a salad as an additional side, which is why I've marked the food down 1 star. And did I mention the beer was first class?
