Do not order from this place. We got takeaway last night and I've been vomiting all night from the food eaten here. It also has a 1 hygiene rating which I wish we checked before ordering. Not only did I get food poisoning, the food was bland and horrible. The chowmein tasted like it had been smoked. Very odd. We will not be ordering from here ever again. ??????????

Do not order food from here unless you like your chinese bland, tasteless and watery. Half of ours ended up in the bin. Four of us all had different dishes yet all agreed that this was the worst chinese meal we had ever had. You have been warned.

First time of trying this takeaway and definitely the last!!! The beef was so chewy it was not edible the fried chicken was really dry and the house special fried rice WELL !! The rice was wet it had a really sweet orangey yellow sauce over it with a few pieces of overcooked dry meat and the prawn toast tasted bad cannot express how disappointed we were with this takeaway

I love this absolute gem of a takeaway, we have been going for years and the food is consistently good. In fact it is utterly delicious AND you get free prawn crackers with your order. Once a year New City kindly gift their customers beautiful calendars. The staff are lovely
I HAD been using new city semi regularly purely for the fact they deliver! but if your planning on using this place think again! considering there is a 10x better Chinese directly opposite there shop. the food was cold and not only was it flavourless, what you could taste was unfresh, cheap , poor quality poorly cooked food! after ringing them to complain I was offered a free potion of rice next time I used them! considering I had been using them semi regularly and the potion of rice they offered costs them pennies. I will be spreading the word not to use this place and I hope this review puts you off!!
