“Can't fault the cod and chips. My son loves the battered sausages. Curry sauce is pretty good too.
Vegetarian options: Chips and pea fritters”

“On my first visit here and I found the staff very helpful and welcoming. The food was perfectly edible, but it was also very mediocre. I would eat from here again, although I would try something different.
Also, as much as they will take payment from cards, there is a big sign encouraging payment from cash only. I felt uncomfortable when I needed to use a card, as I had no cash with me.
I can't highly recommend this place, but I will be going back at some point in the future.”
“Always great ?? we've ordered here a few times now and the food has always been quick to come out and tastes great. Highly recommend.”

“Firstly, reading about the long waiting time, I have called and ordered on the phone before going. I still had to wait for everything to be slowly boxed up by the young girl that was way too distracted. But ok.
Fish and chips is good, no doubt. Even a small cod I found reasonably sized. Chunky cod, crispy batter, oilier than expected but better than average, good chips. Lovely calamari rings. Pickled egg and tartare sauce below expectations. Overall £13.50 was good value.
In my opinion this place should improve on the details: I find it annoying having to pay 40p for a ketchup sachet, or £3 for the bottle! Mayo/mustard is just not available. I was asked if I wanted salt and vinegar, but not my thing.
I got the tartare sauce that is nothing special and disproportionally overpriced (70p).
Just put some of those large bottles on the counter for people to help themselves to. A couple of napkins would be good to have too. I would appreciate a choice of salad or coleslaw. Box stuff up before the customer shows up.”
