We had our wedding reception at Kimbridge Barn earlier this month and it was absolutely perfect! Everyone was incredible throughout the whole process - they were super attentive and helpful, made sure we had everything we needed, and stayed in contact consistently. I asked so many little questions in the lead up to the big day and they answered very quickly every time which really helped to put my mind at ease. Helen and Cassie were particularly great during the planning process, and Fliss was amazing on the day, especially when I was feeling under the weather when we arrived.Thank you to everyone that was involved, you were all amazing! ⭐️

Everyone is so friendly, it has beautiful decor and is sparkling clean. Always over the moon with the food presentation and taste. Cannot fault.

This is a lovely spot. The barn itself is really nice with outside seating by a stream for warmer days. Food is excellent and freshly cooked (can take a while sometimes). Staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menus

Visited in December for a late lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good and atmosphere relaxed. Well worth a visit. We will be back.

Nice quality but way overpriced. Over £4 for a flapjack! £4 for an average flavoured “large coffee” in a small cup! Great ambience but not worth returning at those prices… sorry!

Had a lovely Christmas lunch at Kimbridge with friends recently. We have visited before in Summer, and it’s just as delightful in the Winter as well! The staff are always very personable, service is great!

Not a friendly experience. Three staff members at the counter as we arrived for tea and cake. Nobody made eye contact until we said ‘Excuse me ..’ then we got the ‘You ok there?’ response. Well no, we’ve booked a table and we’d like cups of tea, and some cake please. Our order was taken and delivered unsmilingly. We would have ordered further drinks but decided not to spend any more money on offhand service. We were the only two people in the tearoom so there was no pressure on staff. Prices aren't cheap - and we’ve had far better and friendlier service at cheaper places. A definite need for some urgent staff training. There is a lovely gift shop in the foyer; however it’s very badly lit - when we left, it was getting dark and we genuinely couldn't see well enough to buy anything! All in all a disappointment.

We booked out the Boot Room for our Baby Shower on Sunday 5th November. And it was the most perfect day.The calm atmosphere and beautiful setting made this day even more special. The food was amazing everyone enjoyed what they had pre ordered.

The one star is for the coffee which was fine. The girl on the desk obviously didn't like the fact we only wanted a drink as we were told in no uncertain terms that there were no tables and we had to sit outside. When I went in to order there were a number of tables free with no reserved sign on so I queried this and was told that they don't use signs. Fair enough, but there was no warmth or apology. We were told within 5 minutes that there was a table free as someone had just left so we did go inside but were given takeaway cups when the order arrived. I asked why they would be and was told haughtily that I was outside previously. As I was now inside I requested proper cups to be given a look of horror and was told she would pour them into a cup. How unprofessional. I felt I was not welcome there from the moment I opened my mouth. What a shame, KImbridge used to be a lovely place for locals to go to years ago but it has turned into a snooty nightmare. Nobody turned up to sit at any of the 'reserved' tables either..

A lovely place to stop for a tea or coffee and something to eat - I had a freshly baked fruit scone which was very nice. Right near the river Test, and with lovely grounds and terrace. The staff are friendly, and service quite fast. Very relaxing, especially if you've been out for a country walk in the area. A Hampshire oasis.

We were wedding guests at this lovely location. The variety of spaces from the dining room that transformed into a dance floor and bar, to the cosy lounge to the spacious canopied outdoors there was something for everyone and space to enjoy a very joyous occasion. The staff were polite and efficient, the food delicious and the drinks well kept.Parking: Plenty of parking in the adjacent gravelled car park.

What a beautiful place, set in a stunning area. We had a very wet and windy 3 mile circuit walk and arrived here very muddy and very hungry! We all had a roast and they did not disappoint. Great portions with loads of gorgeous veggies. Service was excellent and the high teas looked amazing! There is also a beautiful little shop just inside with lots of lovely housey stuff and gifts.

Food was ok, obviously serving striploin when it says sirloin on the menu and then getting 1 slice for £18 was a bit tight, veggies were good, cauliflower cheese was great as was the terrine. Took 40 minutes to get a drink but the staff were trying their best! A pretty place can see why it's popular.

Have been following this place on social media for a while so when we unplanned happened to be in the area today we dropped in on the off chance for a coffee. Totally fine that there were no tables available. However it was a very unfriendly welcome. We stood in the entrance not sure quite where to go when eventually a member of staff who had been looking at us finally asked us how they could help. I just said we were just after a coffee. Was told pretty bluntly only tables were available outside - which as it was pouring with rain an unlikely prospect. I did feel like we were made to feel ridiculous for expecting a table to be free and not booking. There was only 2 of us. Place looks lovely but not a great first impression by unfriendly staff.
