We popped in before picking up a Chinese takeaway and had the whole place to ourselves. Love the atmosphere, Romsey could do with more places like this to elevate the night life and social options! It feels very classy but welcoming too! They allowed in dogs in as well which was great. Will come back!Dietary restrictions: Vegan brownie was lovely and gooey!

Interesting shop for the out of the ordinary item. Well worth a look round

Fast becoming our favourite coffee shop in Romsey. Coffee is really tasty. Selection of fresh cakes is amazing (the Christmas brownie was beautiful) A really chilled out vibe. It's definitely snug inside but this adds to the atmosphere.

I met a friend at No.5 for coffee and something to eat on Sunday around lunch time, the cafe itself isn't particularly big, which was fine, it's cosy, it was a cold day and it was nice and warm in No.5 The coffee itself was nice, fairly priced and served with a smile from a friendly member of staff. We had two coffees and the second time I had a vegan cookie, which was huge and my friend had a slice of cake, my cookie was served with a fork, which made me laugh, but maybe normal people use that to eat cookies ? The cafe is a little hidden away as it's off the high street but will definitely return, they had some vegan pasty options but had sold out, so left still hungry, but that's my fault more than theirs. highly recommended if you are in Romsey and fancy a relaxing hot drink for sure.

Good selection of dishes. Very good service. Reasonably quick serving food. Starters very good. Had Pad Thai with prawns. So so. Quite surprised that there was a £3.25 charge for prawn crackers. All the restaurants I eat or order delivery from, don't charge.

Went in with a friend, literally ignored by two members of staff despite waiting patiently. We stood for nearly 10 minutes at bar, you could not miss us. Gave up and went to Cork and Bean where we were served by a friendly and welcoming member of staff. What a contrast.

My Wife insisted we just had to go to No5 Bell Street, as she thinks the coffee is superior to other coffee shops in Romsey, sadly the same can not be said for the tea, it was a bland average teabag served in a very large pot with an excessive amount of water, which in turn made a average pot of tea even worse. No 5 also lacks the basics, (a toasted tea cake). Would I go again only if my Wife drags me in kicking & screaming. Back to the department store in Bell Street for me.

Welcoming and prompt service unlike the previous place we had tried and failed to get served in. Lovely coffee and delicious cakes. Dog friendly and a vibrant atmosphere with people actually talking to each other!

Used to love this place, owners must have changed, not as nice as it used to be.

Lovely little jewel in a sea of coffee houses populating Romsey high town. Tried four types of cake slices to ensure an equal field.. ? All lush. Millionaire slice in particular was great with a flat white. ? Well worth a visit if mooching around the town. ?☕?

Loved it here. Last week was my first visit as didn't know it existed. Will be back for sure. Coffee was delicious and my mum loved her hot chocolate

Went for cocktails with a friend one Saturday evening. It was really nice to drink top quality cocktails in an environment that wasn't too noisy to have a proper chat in...unfortunately cocktails are often accompanied by loud music which isn't my favourite nor ideal for those with hearing issues. Just a bit of subtle well-chosen music here. The service was excellent and the cocktails really tasty: plenty of alcohol and not bulked up with ice! A good mix of well-known choices (mojito) and more unusual blends (the No 5 special was a highlight). Lovely evening ambience...definitely not just a daytime coffee shop! (Although I definitely need to return to try coffee and cake soon).

Popped in for the first time today. Coffee and cake stop, will definitely visit again. Friendly staff, lovely cake (good sized piece too!) And nice atmosphere.
