If I could offer 6 stars I would. From first arrival to eventual departure, the entire experience was FIRST CLASS.Menu choice is excellent, food was delicious and well presented, service (provided by Naomi) was impeccable, and the bill very reasonable.How this hasn't yet made it to the michelin guide surprises me, it really is THAT good. ? ?

Had the Sunday lunch at the Hunters and it was very good. Service was excellent. We both ordered pork dishes and the meat was great. Both meals would have been excellent but slightly let down but the gravy. Overall great visit.

I can't rate anything else because we turned up was told to sit down and they would bring menus to us, we got up and left 20 minutes later as no one came over yet 3 members of staff were stood behind the bar chatting amongst themselves almost the whole time. Poor service.

Honestly, this place has added pure talent to cooking pub food. Some great skill/passion in cooking the classics. Also, the team are amazing and very caring.After eating my starters I got too excited for my mains and forgot to take pictures of the mains lol.Kid-friendliness: There is a park in the large garden

A great meal at the Hunters last night. Their Burns supper was fantastic. Excellent traditional piper playing theoughout the evening. The haggis and the other food was brilliant as it always is at the Hunters. Thanks to every one who makes the Hunters a real credit to Romsey.
