A lovely quirky cafe, a marvellous surprise after the plain facade. Excellent coffee in interesting surroundings. Lovely service. An unexpected oasis of cool and calming busy day.

My friend and I went to this coffee shop to have a chat and a coffee. As we walked in, all the staff (all male) just stopped and stared at us as if we were aliens from out of space, no "hello", no "how may I help you" just uncomortable stares. Furthermore, I then said "good morning" to one of the staff and he just very rudely ignored me. I'm not sure why they feel it's ok to be so rude to customers, but rest assured we won't be going there again in a hurry. Such a shame as it's a lovely old building...

Having visited the gift/antique shop on the ground floor, we decided to visit The Nest on the mezzanine floor. We were the only people there and ordered sandwiches and coffee. Both were made to order and served on china crockery. The sandwiches would have done The Ritz proud. Excellent quality smoked salmon and cream cheese on granary bread with a salad garnish. Good quality coffee. 5 star food and service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Came here for a drink. There is a back entrance and then there is an entrance through the main shop entrance. The shop is an antique emporium and then cafe is at the back. There is parking out the back of the cafe which has less steps than if you were to come through the emporium. Hot drinks are £2.50 each which isn’t bad and they tasted nice. They also take Amex here which is a good thing!

Nice quiet place connected to an antique market. The brownie and cinnamon roll were nice. The cappuccino as well. The hot chocolate tasted a bit light but maybe not a bad choice with the very sweet brownie.

Unique space. On the ground floor there are little antique and vintage stalls and on the upper floor a café with strong coffee and tasty cakes. Definitely a place to visit if you are on the look for vintage jewelry, clothes and home furnishings.

I got their hot chocolate. It was fine, but 3£ felt a bit much considering the atmosphere. The tables were dirty and the vibe wasn't great. The cafe is situated in a kind of a vintage store and it didn't give a good smell.
