It doesn’t get better than this, we have been loyal through and through to Piccolo since my friend took me there for the first time over 5 years ago. It’s the cutest little place and such a lovely atmosphere, the garlic bread is to die for and it’s impossible for me to visit without ordering and taking it home!

Lovely team and gorgeous atmosphere, even though I know it’s a popular place, it’s still hidden gem tucked around the corner!

Cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, full-flavoured food, and lovely service.

One of the restaurants I've been wanting to try for a while, and today I finally got the chance.

Quite busy during lunch, but the lady serving me was lovely and attentive.

I ordered the mixed parrilla with spicy rice (of course, spicy for me!). A generous mix of chicken wings, pork belly, chicken breast, and sirloin. Everything was well-seasoned, full of flavour, and beautifully smoky. The sirloin was a little chewy, uneven cook, and some bits were slightly over-charred, but overall, very enjoyable. Crispy chicken skin was a nice touch, although the meat was slightly dry.

The spicy rice was spot on and paired perfectly with the grill.

Dessert was equally satisfying — caramel and cookie cake with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, followed by a lovely crema espresso. A marvellous way to finish the meal.

From start to finish, I was genuinely impressed. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

Popped in on the off chance whilst in Southampton and I will say the Haddock and chips were fantastic. Tasted great and cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely pleasant and the ability to actually sit and eat off plates made the experience ever so nice.

If your ever in Southampton or even from Southampton this is one of the nicest places to eat and the food is second to none..

Visited this evening for food and drinks. Always lovely to return here. Visited a lot last summer. Staff are super friendly, food excellent - proper pub food, huge range of drinks. The cider menu is 5*, Rosie's Pig (4.2%) and Bee Sting (6.8%) were my choices. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely brilliant experience at Sharkey’s. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a proper sports bar — great energy, loads of screens, good music, and a crowd that actually makes watching live sport exciting. Whether you’re there for football, darts, or just a night out with mates, the vibe is always top tier.

The food and drinks were really good as well, with quick service even when it was busy. Everything felt well organised and the staff were friendly the whole night.

Big shoutout to Josh as well, who genuinely made the experience even better. He was welcoming from the moment we walked in, constantly checking that everyone was alright, and handled everything professionally while still being easy to talk to. Staff like that make a huge difference because they create an atmosphere where people actually want to come back regularly.

Overall, Sharkey’s is easily one of the best spots around to watch sport, relax, and have a good time. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a proper sports bar with great staff and a quality atmosphere.

We had just arrived after a very long international flight to a nearby lodging. The Cricketers was open, had a great menu and was a welcome rest stop. Although we arrived outside of normal peak hours, the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was AWESOME! Well done to the kitchen staff, thank you. Went here today after a failed booking at another pub left us without food.

We booked online easily for 4:15 pm, arrived early at 3:30 pm, and the staff accommodated us immediately without any fuss. Drink orders and menus were sorted right away.

We ordered three roasts (two beef, one chicken) plus sides of macaroni cheese and garlic bread. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The roast beef was tender and well sliced, the chicken portions were generous, and the vegetables were spot on. Stuffing served with the beef, proper cauliflower cheese, solid Yorkshires, and a decent pot of gravy.

Finished with the chocolate sponge and peppermint custard, which was excellent and something different.

Efficient service, quality food, and saved our Sunday. Already booked to return this Tuesday for the 2 mains for £20 deal. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic afternoon here. A massive choice of games with expert and kind tuition.
Food was delicious and I was so impressed with the quality of the food, wonderfully fresh and unprocessed. The whole family had fun, the kids would have been happy to stay longer than the 4 hours we spent.

Visited Mangos one week ago in early October. Food was superb, and delicious. Had the Chicken satay, Vegetable spring rolls and Thai red curry. Staff were brilliant and really welcoming and friendly too. Would recommend to anyone who are thinking of visiting Mangos in Southampton. Would definitely go again.

We had our first visit yesterday it was fully booked so we had a little table by the window. Our food came out quite quick considering how busy it was.
We had 2 starters 2 mains and 2 sides.
The bottle of wine was £29.99 which is expensive. But we've never bought one before whilst being out on a date so wanted to try a new experience. Definitely be returning. All our food was packed with flavour. Good portion sizes.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.

It was my first morning eating out in England i arrived from Melbourne in the evening. The service i received from Cheery was fantastic!! She took the time to chat and explain the menu. Her customer service/interaction is by far better than any Aussie service i have had. Cherry is an asset to Bill's. The Menu was big with loads of varity and our meals delicious.

My wife is celiac and I'm forced to go along with her to some bad restaurants to accommodate her. Piecaramba's pies were amazing. Having had a regular at a highly rated pub the night before, I can say that Piecaramba's was much better. I couldn't tell the pies were gluten free. I'm going to say these were the best meat pies I've had in years. We had the Steak/Stilton and the the Holy Cow. The mash with cheddar was like eating a pierogi. All great.

Just moved in to the area and placed a large order to collect for our house warming party. Fabulous atmosphere when I arrived to collect. The owner was friendly and added a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us to our new home which was very kind. We came for my birthday meal with all my family and the staff couldn't of been more helpful especially Sam, he was great!
Food n drinks were served quickly, couldn't fault it!
One negative was a customer letting a small dog round around til I asked staff if they could ask owner to put it on a lead as I had my autistic grandson with me who is terrified of dogs, so this ruined his night really ?
