Giving this a 5 but only because I can't give it a 4.8. The two areas that knock this down a bit for me is the price, a little pricey for bits, and the atmosphere, other than that the service by Alan was top notch, no faults what so ever. The food was fantastic and even though slightly over priced you pay for what you get. The mark up on wine is crazy these days you're looking in most places a bottle costing twice the amount you can get it for in the shops. I think that's wrong but I'm guessing tax etc has driven places to do it. Anyway would definitely recommend this over Figurati, how the hell Figurati has won awards is beyond me and my Italian family. This is much more authentic to the Italian taste buds. Well done guys you impressed the Italians!

If you don't have reservations, arrive early (5:30-6) and promise you will be out by 7pm. The tapas are excellent as are their desserts. The staff is very friendly. I have not enjoyed tapas this much in a long time. Don't forget to ask for the dessert menu, both that we tries were also quite good. We are light dinners and only ordered 3 tapas (& dessert).

We turned up without a booking the week before Christmas at about 4:30pm. They had loads of bookings but said they could squeeze us in.
I can see why it was so popular, it was just fantastic. Food was great - Tricolore salad, pizza and pasta arabiata. All was delicious. Service was good and it felt like we were in Italy.

My husband and I visited this restaurant when we were on vacation from Dehli. We are both non veg, but we decided to try the vegan butter chicken here. we have both eaten in the hotel in Dehli many times where butter chicken was invented, and these people have really made it par excellence! Really surprised that they have made it so delicious and without any meat or dairy. I really give my commendations to this very small team for such a great vegan meal. I would ignore the couple complaining below. Kesarum have definitely not misrepresented any dish whatsoever. they are clueless about Indian food and I think they were expecting Bangladeshi type so decided to nit-pick at anything to bring these guys down.

I cannot thank the board in the city staff enough for this evening. We had a large community group attend (around 15 people) and the team couldn’t do enough for us! My partner and I went to Mango Thai Tapas for the first time today. It's a hidden gem. The decor is very nice. We went in the early afternoon. It was very calm, even with a fair amount of people present.

The food was delicious. I recommend the tapas range. There are very nice options for vegetarians. I enjoyed the corn fritters in particular and my partner loved the satay chicken. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Everything was presented beautifully and full of flavour.

We were served by Jack, who seemed to be on his own. He was very friendly, cheerful and attentive. We commented on how organised he seemed to be, because everyone surrounding us had what they needed and he was always checking in with everyone.

A lovely place that we would be happy to recommend to anyone.

I just discovered this most beautiful Inn when browsing on line for pubs along the river in Hampshire. I fell upon a gem here! Idyllic setting, a variety of seating & tables to eat outdoors along the river. The menu looked amazing, a good variety. We just stopped for a refreshing drink & sat along the river watching the fish jumping. You can purchase fresh baked bread & other provisions. It's truly an idyllic place with very obliging, friendly, attentive staff.

Very difficult to review: as a pub it is excellent; but accommodation wise it represented by far the worst value for money on our entire hike along the South Downs Way! The room was small, awkwardly shaped, taps broken, light not working (offered to fix), noise from the toilet upstairs! Tiniest TV I’ve ever seen (not used), just instant coffee, no milk (unless you ask), just one chair, no luggage stand, quirky but impractical hand basin, no shampoo conditioner or body lotion, no usb socket, WiFi drops out in half the room, bathroom fan that goes on forever! For £140 I’d expect much much much more - however, breakfast was excellent with great proper coffee! Service very good & pub food excellent too. Great pub, but feel I’ve been ripped off with the room ?

Fantastic food. The pub was busy (Uni move in day) and so service was slow, but we were warned before ordering and our server Tabi was absolutely lovely and proactively kept us updated, so no issues or complaints about that.
The food was delicious, an amazing vegan lentil cottage pie! I’m not vegan and can’t really say why I ordered this, I probably wasn’t thinking clearly with the emotion of dropping off our baby at university… anyway I wasn’t expecting it to be that good and was kind of regretting the order until the moment I tasted it. It was stunningly good. An amazing depth of flavour, a generous portion, and delicious gravy. What a delicious treat! We’ll ba back as soon as we can, to visit our child, and to enjoy the food here again.

Popped in here on my own while travelling to my sister's house, as I was hungry and tired after a long day - very glad I did! Friendly and chatty staff indicated I'd made a good choice by going for the steak and stilton pie. Went in today for a quick lunch. I ordered a large bowl since I’m gluten-free and can’t have a tortilla. It was a bit disappointing that the server wasn’t sure which items were GF, but he directed me to scan a QR code that opened their allergen menu, so I could choose safely and take responsibility for my order.

I went with Mexican rice, black beans, chicken, smashed homemade guacamole, pickled red onions, chilli, and sour cream — a simple bowl, but absolutely packed with flavour. I love the concept and the food, and I really hope this place stays busy. It’s quick, healthy, and very affordable.

One more thing worth mentioning: while I was in the queue, I saw the chef come out and check the temperatures of all the food to ensure everything was safe and up to standard. Well done.

I would highly recommend this outlet.

The Thai Corner Restaurant

We visited this resturant on a Saturday lunchtime. I had reserved however it wasn’t needed as it wasn’t busy. However what I will say is even though it wasn’t busy at that particular time, the phone was ringing off the hook for bookings constantly. I can see why. The food was amazing. Quentin was our server. He was super kind, attentive (but not too much) and was very welcoming which was nice.

We were offered prawn crackers with sweet chilli dip. These felt fresh and were flavoursome. There was a special lunchtime menu. I went for this and my guest had two starters (smaller appetite) I had the chicken satay to start, the sauce was lovely. Beautiful flavour, good temperature and tasty. The chicken had a nice marinade and was throughly cooked. My guest had the fish patties. Tad on the hot (spicy) side for her so we swapped halfway through. I found them to be manageable and tasty, not too fishy if that makes sense.

For main I had the garlic and pepper stir fry with beef and my guest had the tempura prawn starter. OMG the stir fry was just amazing. Honestly I couldn’t fault it. If I could have had another one I would have but I wanted to save room for desert lol

The coconut mousse was ok. Consistency was light and the taste was nice. I would have liked the coconut to be stronger but that’s just me. I chose the mango and passion fruit coulis which went well. The cheesecake was good too. We wanted to try two desserts that were shown as being home made.

I can safely say I will be going back, I have other things I want to try on the menu. A nice location, very easy to park and just a really nice place to sit, watch the world go by and eat good food :)

We went at lunchtime (1pm) and the place was heaving ! That said we were seated quickly and our server explained the menu\n& the barcode for paying. The service, even at this c busy time was first class ! The food was excellent and came quickly and the whole experience was great. I didn’t get her name but the manager ( who had been there for a number of years & transferred from whitely), was friendly & efficient and nothing was too much trouble . \nHighly recommended!

We dived in here to get out the rain towards the end of the day and we were impressed.

We had hot drinks and cakes. The person taking the drinks order listened, repeated back and the drinks were accurately made first time. We were told which drink was which without having to question it, this is a rare thing these day's, I was very impressed.

The cakes were also yummy. Pat on the back to the drinks team?

We are regular customers to Pizza hut. Their pizza is one of the best in the UK. We had two medium size half and half pizza and they were very tasty. The beef sizzler is my favourite whereas its the margarita who my partner likes the most. The cheesy nachos is my favourite side and its so delicious. Their delivery is always on time as it was today.The Prices gone up by a bit for the same pizzas that we used to have (hence a missing star).

Just visited Slice & Bites Soton after a long drive from Birmingham. Here for Southampton Uni open day tomorrow and ever hungry teenage son needed to satisfy his midnight craving. He ordered a crispy stack meal with drink. The fries were deliciously crispy (I had a good taste), not at all oily and not too salty. Freshly fried chicken fillet. Again, not oily just deliciously nice amd crispy. The staff were super friendly and helpful in providing local knowledge of the area too. Definitely recommend this place. The portion size was generous and not too badly priced.

First time visitor and walked in to a lovely little restaurant. Clean tidy and welcoming. Greeted by the staff and shown the specials. Ordered our food and drinks and drinks came out quickly and food came out straight after. I had the Eggs Benedict which is a favourite of mine. The Aroma Cafe version was very nice, eggs perfect, well presented and tasted amazing. Staff are all so friendly, real family atmosphere.
Will most definitely be back to try more off of the extensive menu.

Had a lovely dinner at The Jetty. We were quite early as we had somewhere to be that evening but the staff were all friendly and ready to welcome us. Throughout the evening service was attentive, and the food was excellent. We had fish and chips, and it was the sort of fish and chips that reminds you how good it can be, and how poor it often is. The atmosphere was a touch flat, but we were eating at 6pm so that is not a huge surprise, more our fault for eating so early. Would definitely go back when in Southampton

This is the single greatest subway on earth (I have been to 37 Subways in the past 3 months) the staff really are sandwhich artists and I cant thank them enough for their amazing standards. I visited at 01:33 AM and my 1ft long meatball with american cheese sweetcorn and red onions (not bbq sauce this time lol) and it was one of the best I have ever eaten. Gets very very busy here during football season, therefore I wouldn't advise a family visit during kick-off.
Bouncers at front entrance tend to do good job making your experience the best available.
Outdoor seating which is always a bonus.
Friendly atmosphere.
Live sports events on in-house television sets.
Relaxing decor.
This bar seems to be in the top 5 of people's favourite choice when going out to socialize with friends.
