I can't recommend this place enough, and can't wait to go back. The roast was incredible. The staff were also very welcoming, our server was lovely and cheerful.

Had a lovely date night at Bacaro, one of our favourite restaurants. The menu has changed since we last visited so we were looking forward to trying the new dishes. We had the olives, hummus with flatbread and beef croquettes (so good we ordered another plate) pork belly, salmon in filo pastry and Parmesan truffle fries, finishing with a brownie and pistachio gelato. The flavours were incredible, as always. Highly recommend The Chamberry cocktail too.

Had a great time here, the staff are very nice and the food is amazing. My partner and I go here often as they regularly updated their menus and most of their foods can be made vegan. Would definitely recommendVegetarian options: Big vegetarian and vegan range. Most of their menu can be made vegan. I am vegan myself and would definitely recommend this place.

We had our wedding celebration at Bacaro. Sophie was amazing as soon as we enquired, helping us design the menu and plan the day. She made sure everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and all our guests commented on how good it was. Couldn’t recommend Bacaro more!

I booked this place for my birthday and I can say it is definitely one of the best restaurants in Southampton. Food being the most important, I found they have a variety you don't find in other restaurants. It is a small plates menu so don't expect a huge plate of pasta but quality and taste was very good (especially the arancini balls and sirloin steak). Our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere of the place was great. Very pleased with their wine too. I would totally recommend.

This place is okay and food is nice but I just can’t say it’s worth the price … even in today’s climate! £40 a head for 3 small-medium dishes and a non alcoholic drink is a touch more than I’d usually spend! Atmosphere is nice though and service friendly.
Visited with a friend for a catch up, we were served by Cynthia who was absolutely incredible! She recommended the Arancini Balls and they did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful, with an excellent cocktail menu and the food was next level. We've been back again already! Try the Blood Orange Spritz and the burrata! One of our favourite places in Southampton. Sophie the manager is also so warm and welcoming.

I held my 40th Birthday party at Bacaro and can’t recommend it highly enough. The food, decor and service were outstanding and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. There was more than enough to eat for my 30 guests and lots of my friends commented on how amazing the food was. Sophie the manager was so lovely and helpful and made it a really special event with no stress for me. Highly recommended +++

I have dined twice in the last week, once solo and once with my wife. It was a Monday evening 7.00pm and the restaurant was quite busy but we got a nice table for two in the corner. The decor is attractive with high ceilings and nice lighting. Cynthia was our server and explained the menu and the Italian style tapas offering of small plates and sharing. You can order all your food or call up dishes to suit your own pace. It is cooked to order and the flavours were beautiful. I loved the Salt and Pepper Squid and the Shrimp and Crayfish Fettuccine. Service was helpful and the timings were good. Nice house red wine and another good eating experience at Bacaro. A popular place with a calm ambiance and attentive staff. We will be back soon.
