Came here for a bottomless brunch which didn’t even meet the definition. Its £27.50 for your drinks and you have to buy your food separately to complete the ‘offer’. Easily bringing the price to over £40 per person for 90 minutes! Theres like 3 cocktails on the menu, all very small and extremely basic. You aren’t allowed to order another one until you’ve all finished your current drink and the staff all seemed to go off of different rules and criteria so there was no consistency. They also tried to get us out before our time was over because they had another party waiting. Slow service, ridiculous prices. Would not recommend!

Had a fabulous meal for my son's 17th Birthday after a recommendation from a friend. We were served by Amelia who was very attentive, friendly and a very good server. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful night.

They have some great food and its a great place to go. But they do have issues, wait times are long and sometimes not always they let the quality slip and that sadens me as the food is great and the Gluten free options are perfect for a celiac!Also woth knowing the breakfast is great but a little pricy and the gluten free breakfast is one of the best around.They do blue light and defence discounts 20% off use it!Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free options!

Bill's Southampton Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting, and the decor added a charming touch to our dining experience. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and each one we tried was expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were exceptional, and it was evident that careful attention was paid to every detail. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Overall, dining at Bill's was an absolute pleasure, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their delicious offerings. Arrived early after long travel day, seated very quickly, and were presented with menu then left for a short while to ponder.The food was really tasty and hot, served fast, we each had a starter and main from the full menu and a soft drink. Each part was delicious.Then came the problem, as the restaurant filled up for dinner, the service became non-existent. The waitresses were serving, taking orders and seating diners, of course, but we never got offered desert, coffee, or more drinks, and after a quick bathroom break, we paid and left..Yes we would come back, the food was lovely but a 12.5% automatically added service charge leaves a real bad taste after a two course meal with 2 soft drinks and NO coffee or desert and a bill for £74, yes £74 is too damned much. Pay your staff the proper wage and leave it to us to tip for good service.The staff were lovely when we arrived but come on, £75 for 2 courses is stupid. We could have saved if we had stuck to the set menu. Oh well, we will know next time.Beautiful decor, though.

Went to the Southampton branch yesterday for the Bottomless Pancakes Promotion. Wish we'd have gone anywhere else. The pancakes came out almost completely bereft of topping, not sure whether this was poor kitchen staff on the day or some sort of directive from management to manage consumption/ stock levels.Our waitress was funny with us when we asked for more syrup.We had two rounds of pancakes with the second round meant to come with "Hot chocolate" sauce, this was cold and basically tasted like Nesquik Chocolate milk.At this point we decided to cut our losses pay and leave.Oh and Bills new cashless system relies on you paying via QR code where they auto select a 12.5% service (even on a table of two) charge and a 5% tip. My own fault I suppose that I missed these at the time.

Nice busy restaurant. Not great for short people. There was only window stall type chairs left so managed to climb on just about. Also was charged for service charge with being asked.

Love Bill's and love the fact that we keep getting the same table, which in our eyes makes it our table. I had the meatballs which were fantastic. All servers were excellent and attentive. Always go there when in town.
