Good pub food, good service and the atmosphere is good for families at the time we can (late morning early afternoon). The prices are good and kids menu is decent and very fairly priced.Kid-friendliness: Good menu for kids

Had xmas dinner here and for £400 I got a peice of cheap already sliced bread toast for our salmon starter, over cooked steak which i sent back twice and no pigs in blankets or parsnips with half our mains. Thanks for the crackers though made it really special... I got a refund for my meal but really should have refunded half our meals for the missing food!!!

I have been in this pub a lot and I’ve seen things that would make you sickThe chef having his break in the bar and picking his nose and wiping it on his apronOld man who takes his dog in all the time and puts food on the table and lets the dog lick the food off the tableThe food is absolutely disgustingThis is called the ping ping pub because everything is done in the microwaveThe food is either undercooked or overcooked raw or frozen stillI know a lot of people that still go in this pub and some that have started going elsewhere for a better atmosphereThis pub does nothing to celebrate Halloween, Christmas or the new yearWhat kind of pub does nothing like thatIf you have 1 pint and get in your car to go home they Barr you for 3 monthsWhat the hell surely they can’t do that Barr you for having 1 pint and driving homeI’ve also heard staff asking people to put a good review up for them and asking those who put bad reviews to take them off the siteThe toilets are disgusting I stopped going in them because they was that bad.There is people in there that take drugs In the pub including staff but nothing gets said about that either.UnbelievableI’ve nothing to gain by telling the truth about what I know and have heard and seenI just think people should know what is going onWhoever owns the pub should be doing something about it because they are losing customers now and before long there won’t be anyone wanting to go into their pubI wouldn’t recommend The Fleming Arms if you paid meI definitely wouldn’t recommend the food thereI’m sorry if this offends anyone but it’s about time somebody spoke out.Of course you would say thatNo I would not like to see you in personPeople need to know what it’s really like in the pubCould you tell me what you did for Christmas for the customers because I know for a fact nothing was doneThe same at Halloween nothing was doneAnd there’s nothing organised for tonight New Years EveI have a relative that used to drink in the pub until recently and now they have moved to another pub and they have a ticket for tonight to see the new year inI have a couple of friends that still drink in the Fleming Arms for now but even they have said how bad it is

Brilliant atmosphere!! Great entertainment. I totally recommend. It was fantastic value! The food was also very good and efficient. :)

I went for Christmas dinner booked under the name of Richard Foster , I told them twice on booking my husband is disabled and then they tryed to sit us upstairs , when I informed them that I had told them they became annoyed , we were sat on a table set up for 3 and we booked for 5 , we had yo ask for extra cutlery . The food was slow in coming and was dry with no gravy , when I asked again rudeness from the manager who got us the smallest boat of gravy we had to ask for more , I was disgusted the food was disgusting and felt like an inconvenience, we spent alot for what can only be regarded as cold dryed up poop. I was so upset and didn't want to upset my children . I would have understood more if it had been busy but really wasn't . Management rude and couldn't wait to leave . Very bad experience

The food was very delicious I got the fish and chips. The fish was nice and crispy and the chips were nice and hot. For desert I got the chocolate cake and ice cream and it was very rich in taste and

I have been in numerous times, sometimes for a casual meal or to celebrate birthdays. Every time the food has been great, quick service and good atmosphere with friendly staff. Great pub for families or if you just fancy a few drinks. Was recently served by Lesley - she was very helpful, smiley and despite being rushed of her feet didn't let it stop her from providing excellent service.

Went for a family meal after a show with children. We were a family of 15 sons understand we were a large booking. How ever over half the menu was unavailable one meal had to go back 3 times due to it being cold.... 8oz steak (only steak then had ) was over cooked for some inlaw. Chicken on mixed grill was slimey and my son described it as tasting like it was still in raw juices abdcson in law said it felt funny and rubbery when he went to cut it. Needless to say they left it. I had to pay a £50 deposit which should have been refunded from bill but I had to ask for it back. My daughter put in a complaint with then and had a call to offer her a free meal, which she declined.i however, being the person who booked, did not even get an apology for the shocking service.

Went to the Fleming arms on Friday night, 2 adults and 1 child, we do go regularly as always have a fabulous meal here, but I can honestly say LES the lady who does a lot of running around does a fantastic job her interaction and the care she gives to all customers is amazing, she goes above and beyond and is amazing with my grandson,

Tried 2 of the new meals today and could not fault the food, which was piping hot and surprisingly plentiful and the service was spot on.
