I love a kebab! The chicken shish kebab is expensive at Hythe Kebab Centre. We buy one between us these days with a portion of chips to share. The staff make it fresh while we wait. They are busy, often surly and insist on being paid cash. Once I walked out as I had no cash and they let me use card on that occasion.

He asked if I wanted take away and I said yes than he replied “which way” ? that left me devastated later he than asked if I wanted salad and I replied no than he says “u no want the rabbit food” and my rabbit had recently died so he made me tear up a little. Credit where it is due, I had a lovely take away tonight. Lots of tasty salad. Ordered a cheese burger and have to say it was 10 times better than other known chains in the fact it came it with lots of salad and a lovely garlic mayo. Thank you. I will be back.

Very small kabab shop that doesn't sell chicken donner would be nice if staff interact with the customers a bit more. You are much better ordering and paying the extra to have it delivered. Can definitely tell there is a cost of living crisis with their portion sizes too.

Have been a long time customer of this kebab shop but what on EARTH has happened?? First of all, the staff act as if they’re doing you a favour by serving you. There’s about 10 blokes stood behind the counter all speaking and laughing in Turkish the whole time. It’s a horrible environment. Secondly the price of the food now is CRAZY! £7.90 for a SMALL donner kebab?! Come on now, I know it’s 2023 but that’s absolutely preposterous. What’s worse is, they seem to be creeping prices up every few months. Cost or living or not that’s shady behaviour, you’ve now reached the point where you’ve priced yourself out of the market. I won’t be coming back.
