“Absolutely excellent meal at Bayleaf. We were staying 1 night in Southampton and looked for a local restaurant. Bayleaf ticked all the boxes, most of all there are so many Indian dishes that we had never seen before. I had a Tamarind chicken which was delightful. It has a deep sweetness from the tamarind and tomatoes and a nice kick. My wife had a duck dish which was exquisite and another dish we had never tried before. Great service from nice staff 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“First time here today and we ordered a takeaway for collection, efficient and friendly service.
Chicken tikka kebab in a naan bread was good.
Chicken tikka Ceylon with pilau rice and garlic naan bread was good, but I do prefer fresh chilli rather than powdered. The chicken was ever so slightly on the tough side.
But overall I wouldn't hesitate ordering from here again.”

“The best Indian food I have had in southern Hampshire! The sauces were all correct, not the usual same base uses for all dishes, spices were great, flavour and heat combination was perfect! I have found a Gem, they do collection, delivery and seated on a lively restaurant atmosphere. Fantastic!”
