Lovely café, very friendly staff, decent prices, nice simple food, right on Shirley High Street opposite the precinct. What else could you want from a café?Simple but elegant decor, full windowed front meaning well lit by daylight. The only downside was a lack of gluten free items on the menu, but options for vegetarians and staff are happy to substitute items within reason.A bit cramped for disabled persons but you should be able to manage to squeeze between tables in a wheelchair...just.Normally busy as quite popular, but normally able to find a spare table, so quite a lively feel to the place.Would recommend

Not a lot of atmosphere but it's a high street cafe you can't expect too much nice cup of tea food was well cooked and service was excellent.I just happened to go in when the young mothers club were in with 3 screaming kids.,Apart from that it was goodKid-friendliness: Kids everywhere so it must be kid friendly.

For £10.95 breakfast needs to be good, at half this price it would still be a struggle. Reheated tough bacon, cheap sausage and only one piece of toast. Once bitten twice shy,

Managers(Andrea I believe) language leaves a lot tb desiredPity poor staff working there
Sadly its gone downhill since the days when it was Tucks. I can understand the price increases in today's world, but there really is little excuse for getting a simple order wrong, repeatedly.
